Mitt Romney, meet Mitt Romney

As we saw this morning on the abortion issue, this just brushes the surface of Romney’s recent flipflops. But it’s telling nonetheless:

It makes me want to learn video-editing software.

Anything Mitt may have said that’s conflicting pales in comparison to the conflicting words spoken between this White House and State Department with the facts concerning the tragic deaths of Americans in Libya. Not even to mention the conflicting accounts being given by various members within Obama’s administration including Obama himself. Obama’s credibility along with his poll numbers are dropping like a rock with just a few weeks away from the election. We could be looking at a potential Romney landslide.

Just wait-he’ll change his stance on everything tomorrow, so you’ll just lean away….and then to him….and then away again. You’ll need a live feed on your phone in line at the polls just to keep up withe latest changes so you’ll know how to vote.

Kayaker71,

I wouldn’t bet against your prediction. I’ve been looking at a close election that could go either way up until recently. Considering Obama’s poor debate performance resulting in a decisive win for Romney that gave Romney this surge along with waning enthusiasm in Obama’s base may make your prediction a reality in a few weeks.

My B-I-L works for DoD and we both hold TS security clearances. We had a discussion on Benghazi a few days ago and though his area is site security, it is NOT for consular operations. Even though there were no specifics discussed, if I were to post what was said, it would look like this:

“well, what [REDACTED] does is [REDACTED] and once that is known we [REDACTED] so that is how [REDACTED] decides to [REDACTED]”

This is what is so attractive to the GOP, there is simply no way for the administration to defend itself as the actual reasons, actions and intel used will never see the light of day.

Washington (CNN) – Following a string of recent developments that suggest waning Protestant power – like the first Supreme Court with no Protestant justices, and a Protestant-free Republican presidential ticket – a new Pew survey finds that Protestants are no longer the majority in the United States.

The Protestant population has declined from 53% of the U.S. population in 2007 to 48% this year, according to the survey by the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life, released Tuesday.

The results mark the first time since Pew has been tracking the country’s religious demographics that the share of Protestant Christians in the United States has dipped significantly below 50%.

The largest decline among Protestant subgroups tracked by Pew was among white mainline Protestants, whose proportion of the population dropped 3 percentage points, from 18% to 15%.

The study also found that the fastest growing “religious group” in the country is people who are not affiliated with any religion.

It is difficult to say the least. There is change, good for the people. A new realistic administration, solving issues, rather than running away from them.
I still sense a desperation among the democrats, trying to reinvent themselves as effective decision makers, rather than the business as usual appeasing the middle east, which sees appeasement as weakness.

For Romney in regard to women’s choice it is a case of, “I was for it, before I was against it, but now I have nothing against it, but really I’m against it. For Obama’s supporters, already dismayed by the president’s halting performance in last week’s debate with Republican Mitt Romney, that change in tune is a new source for concern as they fret that a children’s TV show has become a new backdrop for their candidate’s campaign

Romney is looking at the numbers in Virginia and Ohio, crucial swing states, and realizing that women are very angry about the harsh restrictions that state legislators, a bunch of morally corrupt old white men, have put on their legal right to choose abortions in those states. He’s trying to appeal to moderates, or the vast majority of Americans, and distance himself from the disgusting filth that is the religious right.

Will it work? I think not.

POWDER SPRINGS, Ga. —

A church outside Atlanta has won a battle to stop a Walmart Supercenter from selling alcohol.

The Marietta Daily Journal reports (http://bit.ly/RcaFo9) that Cobb County commissioners on Tuesday denied a request from the Powder Springs store to have a wine and beer package license.

The vote was 4-1, with county chairman Tim Lee alone in support of the sales.

The store wanted the commission to waive its restriction of selling alcohol within 600 feet of a church.

The Rev. Bobby Wood of Pine Grove Baptist Church had said congregation members are asking commissioners not to approve the waiver for the store on Barrett Parkway.

Powder Springs is about 20 miles northwest of Atlanta.
