As we saw this morning on the abortion issue, this just brushes the surface of Romney’s recent flipflops. But it’s telling nonetheless:
It makes me want to learn video-editing software.

Who is that other guy that dresses up to look like Romney and contradicts everything he says? If I was the Romney campaign I’d sue the pants off of him.
I do enjoy listening to Mr. I Was Dead Wrong.
He reminds me of a very, very, very amateurish version of the Asimov, Clarke, Heinlein, Bradbury, Verne and HG Wells that I read in my younger years…
October 10th, 20125:57 pm
I don’t care who you are, thass funny!
October 10th, 20126:00 pm
Jay — You liberal, fascists, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah!!!!!!
Why don’t you EVER talk about Obama’s failed everything?!?
Stop bashing Two Face!!
You should be bashing Obama’s and Holder and that idiot who doesn’t make any policies Susan Rice!!!!
Good thing I don’t buy this newspaper — I just spend HOURS on here blogging and reading and I NEVER go to those other sites and blog because………………..umm……………because…………….
JAY!! You LIBERAL!!!!!!!
Just thought I’d get that outta the way. I have to save USMC’s arthritic hands so that he can cut and paste some more BrieFart stuff.

Baby, do you understand me now?
Sometimes I feel a little mad
But don’t you know that no one alive can always be an angel
When things go wrong I feel real bad.
I’m just a soul whose intentions are good
Oh Lord, please don’t let me be misunderstood

Jay if you have to rely on the Daily Kos for your support, you might as well quote Drudge or Boortz
Busy today, but I hear Romney is going to be a liberal today. Could change by time I get home
Heh, heh, heh.
Hey, Mitt’s evil twin! Or good twin! Or something!
Love it!! But all he did was “change his mind”, right? That’s okay if your goal is just to get elected, no matter what. I don’t think in the days before videotape and the internet he would have able to get away with so much flippin’ and a floppin’, but who knows?
October 10th, 20126:19 pm
Aquagirl: it’s a clone, so they’re both evil…and awkward, and WAY too stiff. Either he needs to get a bigger size Mormon undergarment or have a drink every now and then.
October 10th, 20126:21 pm
In case you hadn’t noticed, TM, neither of those men in the video are Boortz or Kos. And none of those statements is taken out of context in any way, because I checked.
October 10th, 20126:22 pm
Good stuff kos.
Good to see bloggers that meet up for drinks and football have each others backs.
October 10th, 20126:25 pm
I’ve met Fred and he’s a good guy.
it’s a clone, so they’re both evil…
So Mitt is for cloning this week? Wait, that was last week. Now that the National Convention Of Very Rich People Who Will Make Money In Cloning is over, he’s against it again. I think.
October 10th, 20126:30 pm
I think most bloggers are different personalities in person.
I’d take him any day against Bozo the amateur. This Libya thing is going to stick to the wall and the press, excluding Bookman, is going to be forced to acknowledge it despite their misgivings. It’s just too big for anyone with half a brain to ignore. Clinton, Bozo, Carney and Rice all knew they were not telling the truth, yet they fed us this BS story about some video just to cover this whole sordid mess up. Clinton should, at best, resign. Rice was just tooting the Bozo horn but she should also resign. Carney, obviously, lied and Bozo….. we haven’t heard anything from him but apologies, video stories and shuckin’ and jivin’. This is the biggest thing since Watergate and we don’t hear a word from our “opinion journalist”, Bookman. Your silence is deafening.
October 10th, 20126:32 pm
“Bozo the amateur”
President Obama has four years as leader of the free world.
Your first line is a lie so why bother reading the rest.

Pre-debate Romney vs debate-and-post debate Romney.
If, in fact, the reports of son Tagg (and wife?) telling him ‘enough of this. Be youself. Get back to what you were because we don’t recognize you and you don’t need the farright now” are correct, then I’ll take what comfort I can in hoping that a Romney Administration won’t be a new Dark Age of Conservatism.
‘course, he still needs to get rid of much of his foreign policy team (and I’ve read reports there is dissension in the ranks) but at least Romney’s made a start in the right direction. (Get it? “Right direction” by moving Left?) -
Well, time to sign out for the night but before I go I want to talk about something that interests me. Ever notice that the people in real trouble advertise like crazy? Take Kroger for example. They’ve been all over the ajc for two weeks now with pop-up ads and ads that make it hard to read what you want to read. I reckon they thought I wouldn’t notice that nickle-a-can increase on dog food or the fruit that was hard and unripe. And this Katie Couric must be headed down the tubes where she belongs. She’s on about every page you click on. Couldn’t happen to a nastier person.
OK, I’ve said my piece. Now me and old Ace are going to watch some Fox News and share some fried pork skins. Have a good night everybody. And Ace asked me to give the finger to Mustafa.
Romney is the first quantum mechanics candidate. He’s the cat in the box that’s both alive and dead. You can only calculate his position in terms of probability theory. He’s the Heisenberg uncertainty of modern politics. Sounds trustworthy, yes?
October 10th, 20126:34 pm
Not me. I’m just as obnoxious in meatspace. I figure this will serve me well after the zombie apocalypse.
Back to the matter at hand….as long as Fred is oppressed, THE TERRORISTS WIN.
Kayaker, your comment: “Carney, obviously, lied and Bozo….. we haven’t heard anything from him but apologies, video stories and shuckin’ and jivin’.” is telling. Your racism is showing.
A Simple Man
October 10th, 20126:36 pm
Good stuff. Of course, I’ve seen the same about Obama. Politician at work. I’m cynical. I don’t look for who will do the best job. That’s usually the famous “none of the above.” I look for who is most likely to leave me alone.
And Romney is “walking back” (I really don’t like that phrase) his abortion comments from earlier this week. As of earlier today is again fully pro-life rather than pro-life but having no plans to push laws that would limit choice, or something like that. Tune in tomorrow for another episode of “The Romney Turns.”
I’m am going to be really chapped if this guy wins. It isn’t really even a matter of I disagree with most everything he stands for (at least on alternate days and depending on his internal polls). He shouldn’t be able to do too, too much harm if the Dems hold the Senate and grow some “Spanish body part descriptor deleters” and use the filibuster like the GOP has for even minor legislation and, more importantly for upcoming Supreme Court appointments. But, this big lie stuff bugs me. I love everyone, this month and I’m not talking about that other stuff you have on tape. Jeez.
October 10th, 20126:38 pm
So sad that Romney and Obama are the choices we have. So sad.

Mitt… Mike… Sid… who knows how many are trapped in there.
Lynnie gal, 6:34,
My WHAT??? My racism is showing. What a joke. What an idiotic statement from someone who wouldn’t know intelligent thought if it was hand fed to her. This has nothing to do with this arrogant buffoon’s race, my dear. It has everything to do with what a rank amateur he is about coming clean when he screws up. And that seems to happen more often than not. He is our president, at least for a few more months and he is expecting the American electorate to believe this fairy tale about Libya? He lied to us, lynnie. He lied to you. Doesn’t that upset you? Wouldn’t you expect anyone to be just a little upset about this clown’s inability to handle a foreign policy crisis such as this? He is supposed to be our leader, protector of the faith, commander and chief of our armed forces, leader of the free world….. and he has fallen woefully short of expectations. Racism indeed.
Martin the Calvinist
October 10th, 20126:46 pm
But Jay, during the Republican primary, you stated Romney was the most reasonable candidate the Republicans offered, at least one of them….now you blast him everytime he opens his mouth.
But, you are also right, I don’t like the guy, I really don’t know what he stands for……

October 10th, 20126:52 pm
Speaking of liars Jay, what about this Benghazi thing?” Obama sat and lied on the Letterman show and The View and everywhere else (multiple times on the stump) about “the film” causing this but yet none of you in the mainstream media thought this weird even when faced with the facts that he and his administration and our intelligence knew otherwise. Now the facts are starting to reveal that he knew all about it and they knew that the ambassador was in danger but did nothing. He cannot bring himself to say the word “terrorist attack” can he? Why? Is his liberal mindset so great that the cannot tell the truth and he is willing sell out and lie to the American people in his attempt to placate the Islamists? Or does he still believe his own dillusional and misguided press that he is the great uniter for the world? His weakness is held in contempt in the mid-east and the rest of the world and all of them (China, Russia, etc, etc,) see it as something to be used for their advantage. His weakness is also held in contempt in the US but he and those members of his adoring press such as yourself are too diluded to acknowledge it. God man, do you have any integrity at all?
October 10th, 20126:55 pm
“Do you have any integrity at all”?…….. a resounding , NO.

Obama campaign tries to quell panic
David Plouffe, a senior presidential adviser, blames such periodic outbreaks of panic on the “bed-wetters” in the Democratic party. In an interview with Time, unnamed Obama campaign officials gave a detailed prognosis of the race which appeared to be directly aimed at quelling such concerns.
Still believe your administrator that the attack in Libya was based on some movie promo/ I think he your guy shot but forgot to aim as the other gut.

Romney is only aspiring to be a lier.
Herein lies the real thing.
And this lie causes real pain and suffering.
After watching the above videos….consider this.
•Federal prosecutors have threatened to arrest state employees for administering state laws, resulting in stalled programs and reduced patient access.
•U.S. Attorneys in California recently revived the Bush era tactic of threatening to seize property from landlords who rent to medical marijuana facilities.
•After 9 years of failing to respond, the DEA recently denied a petition to reschedule marijuana, ignoring a vast body of scientific evidence proving the drug’s medical efficacy.
•Federal threats have caused numerous banks to close the accounts of businesses that provide medical marijuana to qualified patients.
•The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms issued a surprising statement that medical marijuana patients may not purchase firearms.
•The IRS is shaking down medical marijuana providers for millions of dollars based on an obscure tax provision aimed at drug traffickers.
•A federal prosecutor even threatened to target newspapers that run ads for medical marijuana services.
•And, of course, the DEA continues to raid tax-paying businesses that are legal under state law.
Joe Wilson is right.

some more BrieFart stuff.

Pretty funny – but I am sure it would not be hard to make a similar one with Obama in it.
Both sides move to the flank during money raising season and then back to the middle when everyone is looking. I watch primary season mostly for the entertainment value. That’s when the best zingers are made.
The Mittster meant to say tax RATES, not taxes.
That never happens to O’bozo.

For those of you that think I shouldn’t be for and against everything. I want to let you know that I’m also neutral. – Mitt
I just dont understand how ANYONE could support this sitting president with all that has come out on him. He’s a LIAR, a Hypocrite, Socialist, uninformed, inexperienced, and on and on. The more I see and hear about Romney the more I’m leaning to him.Jay you and your newspaper should be as concerned about the future of this country than any of us. You and Michael Luckovic “the cartooner”, are the most Liberal bias knuckleheads in the country. Your position should be to queston them all. And do your editorials on all politicians. The attitude you guys have are exactly why the AJC has lost so many subscribers.
Fred said something mean to me a few days ago
I say OFF WITH HIS HEAD!
I will sign the petition
Quote heard from Michelle, whispering in Bozo’s ear when they left the debate……”Don’t worry, honey, we stole what we could and when we go back to Chicago, we’ll live way better than those fools that voted for us”.
October 10th, 20127:20 pm
71 for Fred, even up.
October 10th, 20127:21 pm
You ain’t nobody ’round cheer until Fred says something mean to you!
For the 08 debates, they erected a life size cardboard cut out of Obama and played the same canned speech of “hope and change” over and over.
October 10th, 20127:22 pm
No, Sinkwich, he did not.
The debate question was specifically about cutting taxes, and all the other GOP candidates were pitching their own tax-cut plans. Mitt did the same. It takes an act of will to watch that video and see it the way that you claim to see it.
“Democratic volunteers in southwest Ohio on Tuesday were shocked to find the entrance to their headquarters blocked by a massive pile of horse manure, according to a local report. Warren County Democratic chair Beth Goldenfield told WKRC Cincinnati that her staff was sickened by the prank, which they think occurred sometime after 10 p.m. on Monday. Goldenfield suspected a few local GOP elephants were behind the nasty dung attack.”
If Beth paid any attention to the news she would know such a tactic has Occutard written all over it.
October 10th, 20127:24 pm
Sid, may we speak to Mitt for a moment.
No! Mitt only comes out on hidden camera.
“It takes an act of will to watch that video and see it the way that you claim to see it.”
I’m good at that.
“That never happens to O’bozo.”
Not according to some on here. When Obama misspeaks it is a lie or evidence of his being an ignorant, Muslim, socialist, anti-American baby killer.
Sure not much fun when that same card is played back, is it?

on a positive note, as Atrios reports, “Hopefully Schumer did just manage to destroy a grand bargain.”
Chuck Schumer definitely got under the skin of Republicans yesterday by suggesting that Democrats were being led into a “tax reform” trap. Until this point, Republicans had been fairly cagey about their tax plans for a grand bargain, but they were able to garner a mild consensus over the concept of broadening the tax base while lowering the rates. Far too many Democrats joined them in this theoretical agreement. And Schumer basically called it a con job. You know he was on the right track, given the responses at the upper echelon of the Republican leadership.
