Yup. WRON—21 miles east in Ronceverte, WV, along the Greenbrier River. And WOAY in Oak Hill, WV, over in Fayette County. Oh, and we had three TV stations if you turned the outdoor antenna up on the hill just right: Roanoke, VA; Oak Hill, WV; and Bluefield, WV.

Economies need growth to survive . Without growth the wither away and die . No one approach is the best approach . There are times for belt tightening and times for stimulus . But economic theory trumps ideology , And that is the problem with this president . His ideology comes first , Lawrence Summers said that a stimulus should be temporary and targeted . Barack Obama wants to use the economy to right perceived wrongs in the country and presidents should not do that , If you want to address perceived injustice in the system then follow sound economic policies and the system will adjust itself . At the end of the day it’s economic policy that improves the lives of people and you don’t do that by dragging down success. You do it by lifting people up . Evey time you point the finger at someone else s success you give people a built in excuse to fail . You don’t run an economy on pity and envy because you end up with pity, envy and unemployment .

After Clint Eastwood’s peech, which seems to have mortified the entire Establishment, what with his call for the withdrawal of all troops and a cessation of total globalization, the Establishment is in a total uproar over his remarks. I want to do local,regional, and national blues/rock acts, but music will not support itself, so I will need to serve food.
About 10 years ago, I was living in Charleston, SC and I got laid off from my job as a construction engineer. The next door neighbor came in and said the cook quit at our neighborhood restaurant/bar and did I know anyone who could cook?
I told her I could cook.
She asked could I start that night?
I had cooked all my life, but 6 parties of 8 is a little different. WOW!
Anyhow, I cooked (one man show) for 7 months and loved it.
I`ve been wanting to do this for 20 years, but always chicken out.
I have one inside with the music side of things. My son is friends with and has played with just about everyone in town. He (drummer) attracts bad a$$ guitar players like flies.

Not intended to be a factual statement.
From nbc news: A separate federal investigation relating to allegations of civil rights abuses by Arpaio’s office is continuing.
From cnn: The sheriff is on trial stemming from a 2007 class-action lawsuit that alleges that his office “launched a series of massive so-called ‘crime suppression sweeps’ that show a law enforcement agency operating well beyond the bounds of the law.”
The U.S. Justice Department has also filed a separate civil rights lawsuit against him.
But the allegations that were dismissed by the federal investigators were of a smaller scale.
That’s the problem with posting drudgey headlines, they are misleading if not outright lies.

In today’s installment of strange news stories: A Florida man, allegedly “obsessed with Fox News and the Republican party,” was jailed yesterday after he reportedly threatened his girlfriend, feeling he had to kill her because she’s “liberal.”
David A. Kappheim, 60, is in jail without bail — charged with domestic battery, aggravated assault and criminal mischief. His girlfriend, 59, had told police about several past incidents, according to the Palm Beach Post. As for the said obsession, inside the woman’s apartment, “the deputy said he found documents that made him believe Kappheim is obsessed with Fox News and the Republican Party, and that he may be a danger to others.”

3) The article concerned criminal charges of course.

He is entitled to his opinion just as much as anybody else. Is he supposed to automatically like Obama because of race? The only people I hear make any argument or issue over that is conservatives. The idea or concept that a Black Conservative doesn’t like Obama doesn’t surprise me, it doesn’t offend me, nor does it sway my personal opinion.
I’m not sure what reaction you expected from me, but in America, we all have the freedom of expression, and he expressed his feelings about the POTUS.
