As we slide into the Labor Day weekend, I cannot think of a more appropriate way to mark the holiday than to enlist some exceedingly rich people — all of them self-made capitalists of course — to sing the praises of the hard-working people, the lowly of birth, the rag-tagged people, the salt of the earth.
So … SAAALLLUTTTTE!

Ah yes, good ‘ol Keith Richards who fell out of a coconut tree while filming Pirates of the Caribbean.
A nuclear war could break out and the only things left would be Keith and a cockroach. Keith would say “you know what? I smoked your uncle one time.”

Once again the bitterness and panic of the far left shows it’s ugly face. Labor day means exactly what it’s name infers. The only problem is, in the last four years there are fewer and fewer of us laborers to be honored by the holiday and more and more people who sit on their bums who exist on our effort. Social parasites if you will. Not many of Bookmans liberal worshippers have jobs. And that explains a lot. So, in closing, happy holiday to all of us who actually do work and pay the bills for all of us! To the rest, the debt will take of you.

getalife,
I couldn’t get into that one. After seven seasons of the Sopranos, (and most movies available for our cable viewing pleasure), I feel well saturated with stories of uber-testosteroned gangsters murdering for profit and pleasure, subjugating and objectifying women, getting rich and comfortable doing evil things, while those with a lesser capacity for evil die screaming and begging for their lives. It’s not that I’m un-American or anything (violence rules, right?), it’s just that I got bored with the storylines.
Either that, or I’m getting old.
Still like this tune, though: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3XFyvNIyjyc
