The big mystery of the 2012 GOP convention

be6eb3a071c9b318190f6a706700d39e

Can anybody identify that rectangular item in the upper left-hand corner of this AP photo, taken during Paul Ryan’s speech last night to the Republican National Convention?

The vice-presidential nominee seemed to be glancing at it quite a bit last night, almost as if he was reading from it. Anybody got any ideas? In fact, I believe that every single speaker at the convention with one exception — Condi Rice — has been staring at that thing during their speeches. It’s almost as if they needed somebody to tell them what to say.

I’m going to be watching Mitt Romney closely tonight, just to see if he too starts staring at that … whatever it is. Weird, huh?

Class of ‘98:

The libs. called Bush …………. “W”
+++++++++++++++++++

No Scout, the re-election bumber stickers called President Bush “W.” He was called that BEFORE the re-election though. He was called “W” (or phonetically Dubya) to distinguish him from his father “H.W.” His father was named George Herbert Walker Bush. He was named George Walker Bush. The W was to distinguish him from his father HW. I know it’s hard for you to admit you understand, but I know you do. If you can quit your natural Republican tendency to lie long enough to admit I’m right I would appreciate it.

I doubt however that ANYONE could ever mistake Barak Obama for any other President or American politician.

Classless in 98 and every other year knows this. What he is trying to do is claim that our President is a Muslim or somehow a criminal because of his middle name ( he even says so himself). You know thta. I know that Classless knows that. He is making himself feel important by insulting the most powerful man on the face of the earth right now, the President of the United States.

He doesn’t realize, as you don’t, nor do the others who do the same thing, that by showing disrespect to the office of the President of the United States you show disrespect to our nation as a whole. If you and Classless don’t respect our Country and it’s highest office, then why in the hell should some combatant? And yet YOU would talk about how HE (President Obama) is shaming our Country/ What are you doing.

Semper Fi my big fat white hairy ass. You should be ashamed Mr. Faithless.

Actually they are not available to the public because law prohibits the public from requesting and receiving anyone’s college transcripts without the express written permission of the student.

Most people understand that TelePrompTers are used by politicians delivering major addresses.

Yes, Ryan used one last night. Yes, Romney will use one tonight. No one is gonna be shocked.

O’bozo gets ridiculed about it because it’s his crutch; to the point it seems he can’t get along without it. In an elementary school? Really?

And who can forget “corpse men,” a gaffe worthy of Joey B., uttered several times?

And when he introduces people he already introduced because it told him to say so?

He gets laughed at for it because he’s earned it.

By the by, I don’t think Condi used one last night. But based on your previous blog, she’s just a token who doesn’t count because she’s off the plantation.

By the way, having visited some news sites over the past hour or so, Jay, your “conservatives are racist” blog appears to conform to the DNC messaging calendar of the day. That meme is all over the MSM.

“Hussein” is his middle name, and just happens to be identical to the surname of a tyrannical dictator this country just shed lots of bloods and spent billions of dollars to topple.

So yes, his middle name does conjure unfortunate parallels for supporters.

Again, that is not my problem. I’m just using the name his momma gave him. If it is politically uncomfortable for liberals, all the better.

And for the last time, if Jon Stewart (who I watch every night) can ridicule Romney’s name, I have a clear conscience using “Hussein”. It’s just a word, right? You will see no allusion to B. Hussein Obama’s religion or birthplace in any of my posts. I’m merely using his name.

No problem Fred.

I posted this 3 times before the convention and no one responded:

What is it with people hoping and wishing for a hurricane to hit Tampa during the RNC convention?
Hurricanes KILL people (dem and repub).
Hurricanes destroys homes and places of work.
Hurricanes shatters lives.
Have you ever survived a hurricane? I have.
Hurricanes don’t just drop into an area (say a convention hall), do damage, and then disappear.
Hurricanes leave a path of death and destruction where ever they go.
Why would anyone hope and wish that kind of hardship and heartache on their fellow Americans just because they don’t like the politics of a group holding a convention?
People who wish the death and devastation that a hurricane brings on other Americans for political “jollies” are sick.

…I then have to say Jon Stewart is wrong.”

I’ll have to offer Stewart’s just doing comedy.

What’s wrong is people who think such commentary constitutes a serious analysis and use that example in a serious political discussion.

Some people just don’t seem to have much of a critical analysis filter in their brain, you know that?

I do not believe Condaleeza Rice, the murdering baby killer advocate who also recommends giving special Affirmative Action help to the Entitlement Negroes could ever be elected to ANY position in today’s Republican Party.

(See Frankie/Ahnald.)

She will have to become a female Flip Flop artist like Mitt Romney to get any love at all.

And even then, because she has vajayjay, it would be a LONG shot!

It is evident to all that facts are not your closest of friends. At least that is how you portray yourself on this blog, so I decided to assist you.

No need to thank me.
Glad I could assist

Anytime. Do not mention it.

Me too, josef. That line of hers about being the first time she was proud to be an American didn’t set well with many people. But I suspect her heart has changed in a lot of ways given her fortunes since then.

Towncrier: Ann Coulter thinks people being liberal is a “religion.” Of course I am not going to listen to her. Especially when she indicates that the welfare ad is accurate. That’s just plainly dishonest. Stupid people can’t get away with as many lies as she tells.

Kam,

You were there? Sure looked liked he had the TP set up in front of the classroom to me.

“What am I going to tell the president when I tell him his teleprompter is broken? What will he do then?” Biden said in a 2009 speech, after a gust of wind knocked down his own teleprompter during a commencement address.

The teleprompter fixation is just another con attack to get our President.

Rewarding a party with your vote that sole purpose in life was to get our President after a near depression is ignorant and self defeating.

You will vote for a tax increase if you are middle class.

You will vote for no foreign policy knowledge like w.

You will vote for another collapse.

“Towncrier: Given that I have just laid down SIX links proving the welfare ad was inaccurate, I expect you will be admitting you used a bad source, correct?”

Links don’t refute an argument – not do they make one. They may serve as evidence. Coulter makes more than a little use of Mickey Kaus’ analysis. So you may do well to consider what he says, since he is clearly in the liberal camp.
