Billionaire Adelson: ‘Limitless’ $$$ for Romney
“Forbes has confirmed that billionaire Sheldon Adelson, along with his wife Miriam, has donated $10 million to the leading Super PAC supporting presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney -– and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. A well-placed source in the Adelson camp with direct knowledge of the casino billionaire’s thinking says that further donations will be “limitless.”
Adelson, who has built Las Vegas Sands into an global casino empire, will do “whatever it takes” to defeat Obama, this source says. And given that Adelson is worth $24.9 billion –- and told Forbes in a recent rare interview about his political giving that he had been willing to donate as much as $100 million to his initial presidential preference, Newt Gingrich –- that “limitless” description telegraphs potential nine-digit support of Romney.”

Why not talk about Obama’s “little” party last night in New York hosted by Hollywood Elite Sarah Jessica Parker and Anna Wintour? Why no mention of his stay at the five star Plaza hotel? Why didn’t you write about how Obama has had more fundraising events than the last 6 presidents combined? Or about how the media covers up his gaffes or makes excuses for them (that is pretty priceless)? Between unions, Soros and Hollywood I don’t think you have to worry too much about Adelson.

Also, one apparent accidental death, one suicide and one shooting at the park, but again the article did not actually identify the shooters as actual protesters, as they did for the accidental and suicide deaths.

Democrats buy votes from the poor by spending the tax payer’s money, not their own. they can buy all the votes they want as long as the people remain poor.
Once the poor people start achieving, that takes power from some very powerful people. They can no longer buy the votes. So the system is sort of like the old roach motels. You can check in but you can’t check out. (Or Hotel California)

I see it’s off on Soros again. I’ll repeat what I posted last p.m. The man has donated more than $8 billion (that’s billion) to philanthropic humanitarian causes above and beyond his political ones. From the endowment to Central European University (the largest of its kind) to Muhammad Yunus’ microbanking project, he has funded an incredible range of efforts focused on the betterment of the little people.
I doubt any of the big boy scoundrels of the right can match the big boy scoundrel of the left in having done so much for so many Joe Shmoes in a direct and tangible fashion,,,

Without specifics, like WHICH regulation is harming business, I would have a tough time finding any evidence of it. My bet is you’ve just been TOLD there’s over-regulation from Obamacare with regard to small business, again with no specifics, and so you don’t have a good search term either.

Here we go –
Sheldon’s annual income – approx $1 Billion/yr
Sheldon’s tax on dat – $150mil
Sheldons tax on dat w/ Buffett Rule – $300mil
That’s a tax savings of $150mil/yr X 8 years = $1.2billion
$100million donation / $1.2 billion = 0.083 x 100 = 8.3% (told you)
translate: if Rmoney has an 8.3% chance of winning,
then its a good bet. Does he?

You’re new here, Meat, so I’ll bring you up to speed.
A lot of poster here — on both sides — are going to demand that you prove your claims from time to time. So either pony up the evidence, or else grow a thicker skin (and expect that your word isn’t going to be accepted by very many posters), or else take a hike to somewhere else where the burden of proof for conservative claims is lower.
