Billionaire Adelson: ‘Limitless’ $$$ for Romney

From Forbes:

“Forbes has confirmed that billionaire Sheldon Adelson, along with his wife Miriam, has donated $10 million to the leading Super PAC supporting presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney -– and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. A well-placed source in the Adelson camp with direct knowledge of the casino billionaire’s thinking says that further donations will be “limitless.”

Adelson, who has built Las Vegas Sands into an global casino empire, will do “whatever it takes” to defeat Obama, this source says. And given that Adelson is worth $24.9 billion –- and told Forbes in a recent rare interview about his political giving that he had been willing to donate as much as $100 million to his initial presidential preference, Newt Gingrich –- that “limitless” description telegraphs potential nine-digit support of Romney.”

This is the world wrought by the naivete and partisanship of the Roberts court.

Butch – It’s hyperbole to make a point.. This is a blog, opinions like aholes are rampant. You want to play facts instead? Please show me in the Constituition where it is the role of the Federal government to re-distrbute income.

I'm a liberal and believe everything I read and nothing the other side comes up with...cause we're smart and they are not

Better off: But when you are ready to actually discuss politics, let me know, but be warned, I’m pretty sure this is all you have to offer.

You have no interest in an actual discussion. You are only making this particular case because you do not want to have to answer for your baseless statements, and try to deflect attention away from that.

So fine, don’t prove anything. Let’s all just accept it. Yeah right.

Man up and actually tell the truth. It will set you free.

For example:
-Obama has NOT over-regulated the private sector:
www. politico.com/news/stories/0312/74227.html
-Obama has NOT put too many regulations on small business as a result of Obamacare:
www. forbes.com/sites/rickungar/2011/01/06/more-small-businesses-offering-health-care-to-employees-thanks-to-obamacare/
-Obama’s plans do NOT all “just tilt left”:
abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2012/03/obama-sells-energy-plan-on-local-airwaves-the-presidential-planner/
-Obama has NOT placed massive environmental regulations:
www. cfact.org/a/2051/Feeling-the-heat-Obama-drops-EPA-ozone-regulations

etc etc

So think about how I was able to actually prove four of my cases the next time you like to claim I’m not ready to discuss the issues.

Let the mass whining begin:

The Obama administration will stop deporting and begin granting work permits to younger illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. as children and have since led law-abiding lives.

Locking down that Hispanic vote!!!!

So politicians help the poor with their own money?

This guy, for one: http://www.congressionalprimaries.org/candidate/5

He helped found a community organization that combined job training for residents of public housing with green development in low-income neighborhoods

He’s a Democrat, by the way.

Obama’s latest vote pandering focuses young illegals who’ll be immune to deportation and will also receive work permits. This of course targets the Hispanic vote. It was amusing to hear the desperation in Obama’s voice as he was reciting his little steak and martini joke. His voice was a bit shaky and his frequent pauses indicated that he was having trouble remembering his lines.

There are millions of dollars flowing to Obama. He’s bought and paid for by the homosexual left. In return he “evolves” for same sex “marriage”. There’s millions of dollars flowing to Obama. He’s bought and paid for by the illegal immigrant supporters. In return he turns a blind eye and basically pardons illegal aliens – a violation of law. Why is he doing this months before the election? Votes and cash. The real Obama come’s out. Where’s your ethics now Jay???????

The policy change, described to The Associated Press by two senior administration officials, will affect as many as 800,000 immigrants who have lived in fear of deportation. It also bypasses Congress and partially achieves the goals of the so-called DREAM Act, a long-sought but never enacted plan to establish a path toward citizenship for young people who came to the United States illegally but who have attended college or served in the military.

bypasses congress? Oh no he didn’t.

Recon — “Obama’s latest vote pandering focuses young illegals who’ll be immune to deportation and will also receive work permits. This of course targets the Hispanic vote.”

It also cuts off Marco Rubio at the knees, since he’s Cuban-American and Cubanos are automatically permitted to stay in the US if they can just get their feet on US soild (the Wet Feet/Dry Feet policy). If Rubio is Romney’s running mate, then it becomes politically untenable for either man to speak against this policy, as they’d essentially be saying that Rubio and his family should be entitled to residency, but other Hispanics who get into the US shouldn’t be.

It magnifies Rubio’s already-existing problem with the broader Hispanic community.

I’m saying Jay doesn’t like Adelson spending all that money because he’s afraid the anti-christ (apparently in his opinion) Romney might win. I’m fiscally conservative in that I believe Adelson made the money so he should be able to spend it as he likes. Libs generally rail against the evil rich and evil corporations but that’s what America has always been about, freedom and financial opportunity.

Adelson and the rest of the 1% expect a return on their investment—they want complete dominance over our elected officials and the policies they set. The wage suppressing, job killing policies.

And the Republicowards are gonna do absolutely nothing but sit around on their ample rear ends and allow it to happen.

This is funny!

A Center for Disease Control has issued a warning about a new virulent strain of this old disease. The disease is called “GonorrheaLectim.” It pronounced “Gonna re-elect em” and it is a
terrible Obamanation. The disease is contracted through dangerous and high risk behavior involving putting your cranium up your rectum. Many
victims contracted it in 2008… But now most people, after having been infected for the past 1-3 years, are starting to realize how destructive this sickness is.

It’s sad because Gonorrhea Lectim is easily cured with a new drug just coming on the market called Votemout. You take the first dose now and the second dose in Nov. 2012 and simply don’t engage in such behavior again; otherwise, it could become permanent and eventually wipe out all life as we know it.

Oblama — “Mama – Cuban’s are political refugees – has nothing to do with Hispanic. You want to make it a racial thing. It isn’t”

And this is why Romney choosing Rubio won’t help him with Hispanics, as many conservatives on this board erroneously think. I can’t count how many conservative posters have said ‘yay, a hispanic VP nominee — now we will get all the hispanic votes!’

So correct your ideological compatriots before you correct me.

“There you go pulling the race card.”

Conservatives have been pulling this particular card for the last six months. Go correct them first.

“Illegal aliens are just that – illegal.”

If you want to argue about what immigration law and practice actually SAYS, I will be more than happy to bring you up to speed. I’m pretty sure you don’t actually know the first thing about them.

“The immigration laws are for all races You know it.”

I sure do. And unlike you, I actually know what they SAY.

“Obama is violating existing law and this will go to the Supreme Court.”

Nope. He’s exercising Executive authority, and without proving standing and gaining certiorari, this isn’t even getting close to SCOTUS.

“You can’t pass an executive act that violates the law and that is what he is doing.”

Wrong. You clearly don’t understand what’s going on here. I understand that you don’t like it, but I can also clearly see that you don’t even know what you’re talking about.

“Even you acknowledge why he is violating existing law”

He’s not violating the law at all.

Hypocrites to the LEFT of me and hypocrites to the RIGHT. Observe the laws Obama. If you don’t like them you don’t openly violate them you try to change them. Whining about the contributions of the 1 % giving to the right but accepting cash from the 1% on the left – HYPOCRITES. If your side is doing it you don’t have a complaint about the other side doing it. They are ALL bought and paid for. They are politicians. TERM LIMITS for Congress and IMPEACHMENT for Presidents that pick and choose which laws to uphold depending on whether it benefits them with cash and votes.

We need a 3rd Party in this country. We need a candidate that believes in upholding the laws and Constitution of the united States. A candidate that doesn’t accept bribes from special interests for votes and cash. . When the President of the United States openly gives orders to ignore laws and accepts cash and votes to ignore those laws that meets the definition of a bribe.
