Karl Rove takes on President Cool

Yesterday I posted video of President Obama’s appearance with Jimmy Fallon, suggesting that in a contest for the youth vote, Mitt Romney might find it hard to compete.

So here’s the video response from Karl Rove’s American Crossroads:

As subtle as a 2-by-4.

Of course, Rove knows cool.

But your comments on Walker struck me as partisan.

What you perceived as partisan was actually personal. I come from a union family. I am a public sector worker, and I am also a union member. Anybody who disparages public sector workers or public sector union members may as well be talking about me. I take that very personal as I work my ass off to do my job to the best of my abilities.

As can be seen, removing collective bargaining didn’t do jack sh*t about creating jobs. Anybody who bought that bullsh*t should be run out of office right along with Walker. DEMAND is what creates jobs. When you fire people, cut their pay, or do anything adverse to their wallets, you screw up demand for goods. That, in turn, screws other people out of employment. It doesn’t matter if they work for the private OR public sector.

I’m not saying that unions should have free reign over the country either. I’d put money on there being a direct relation to the stagnant wages for the working class in spite of growth of companies versus the decline of union representation over the past 30-40 years.

In addition, the thousands of arrests made for the counterfieting of U.S. currency, forgery of government checks and bonds, credit card fraud, computer fraud and threats against those they are authorized to protect.

I don’t know how many agents will eventually have to answer for unwise “work hard – play hard” off-duty antics but I do know that twenty-nine personnel have died in the line of duty.

Yet, y’all fear them more than campers at Crystal Lake fear hockey masks and machetes.

————————–

Towncrier

You should research what fed unions are ACTUALLY allowed to do before you talk about exceses. By law, fed unions CAN NOT strike, bargain over pay and benefits, or be forced to pay dues even when covered by a CBA. All our union is good for is negotiating things like seniority bids for positions and stuff. Our pay is dictated by the same jackasses who claim we’re a menace to taxpayers. Too bad most people don’t pay attention to that kind of doublespeak and believe that we have some kind of sway on our pay.

I was not being partisaned as I was simply speaking to Wisconsin, which was a GOP initiated issue. I personally don’t care for either party as they both screw us over in turns. As a matter of fact, ask any prior military or gov’t LEO about which party is better for them to be in control, and they’ll tell you the GOP 9 times out of 10. When the GOP is in control, that usually equates to pay increases and such, contrary to the view they try to spread about the Democratic Party.
