For Romney, winning ugly is still winning

Mitt Romney had a good night in Illinois, defeating Rick Santorum as expected, 47 percent to 35 percent. He still failed to win a majority of Republican votes, but the showing adds to evidence that eventually, some day, Romney will become the GOP nominee.

Ron Paul was third with 9 percent; Newt Gingrich came in last with 8 percent, confirming in his mind that the people of Illinois are frankly, fundamentally too stupid to recognize transformational genius when they see it.

The next vote comes Saturday in Louisiana, where Santorum is expected to do well. Wisconsin, Maryland and Washington, D.C., vote April 3, and five states, including delegate-rich New York and Santorum’s home state of Pennsylvania, vote April 24.

Looking at the schedule, it is now quite conceivable that Romney can have it all wrapped up, in reality if not in quite in delegate count, by the end of April.

I’m sorry if someone beside yourself couldn’t accept your feeble response and it blew your mind. It’s such an epidemic, I can’t hardly get down the hall with all the unwittingly pregnant girls roaming around.

I should’ve added @ 8.54, current ACA legislation assumes private individuals WILL be paying for their own healthcare, in the form of private insurance premiums, either subsidized through their employers or purchased on the open market.

sfd–Let me enlighten you a little bit. The ACA has little to do with folks paying for their OWN healthcare, and everything to do with folks paying for OTHERS health care. Maybe in your world this is a societal value we should strive for, but it is the antithesis of the value I think should be emphasized: self-reliance.

What kills me about some of you Libs is your vocal disdain for the Military Industrial Complex, yet nary a peep about the Medical Industrial Complex and how it has nearly bankrupted our country. We really have only real problem in our health care system, i.e. out-of-control costs, and ObamaCare is only going to make things worse. Yet you guys keep cheering as if we have accomplished something.

The costs were unaffordable so they passed this law to lower the costs. It is a open law for future changes to make it work.

Bruno @ 12:07. Then you should logically abstain from the purchase of any insurance, since the whole point of insurance is to get other folks to pay for your healthcare, accidental loss, liability or death.

BTW, I agree that health care costs are at the bottom of our problems. The fact that about one in six dollars in this economy go to health care is beyond ridiculous.

jkl2- Thanks for not answering the question.

Next deflection…

In case you haven’t been listening, Let me splain it to you.. 1. Women know when they’ve been raped, unless they’ve been drugged out ot their minds by their date or in some cases, husbands. 2. Most women take abortion seriously. It’s not something they run out and get just to make “it” go away. It’s a hard, emotional choice that we don’t take lightly. I’ve never had an abortion and probably never would, but I am not going to stand by and watch as women rights are slowing chipped away. So if they need up to 26 weeks, so be it. 3. I don’t want an old white guy with an R behind his name telling me what I need to be doing with my body and getting in between me and my doctor. It’s MY uterus, MY body, MY choice and until he’s been raped, can give birth, or walked in a woman’s shoes, he needs to keep his mouth closed.

Hope that helps!

What the hell is wrong with home schooling your children?

For starters, teaching them that evolution and global warming aren’t real and keeping them away from anything that might show them evidence that they absolutely are. And hell, you wouldn’t want them to think SCIENCE is anything other than god magic…. Think as you’re told, not for yourself!

Planned Parenthood owns the Dems……. keep your eye on the ball America. Our problem is not $10 a month contraceptives but a $15,000,000,000,000 debt. You can buy a WHOLE lot of birth control pills for $15 trillion. Think about this. The day your baby is born, if Planned Parenthood doesn’t talk you in to aborting him or her, your BABY will automatically owe $47,000 as his/her part of the bill for the national debt. Oblama is not a bad man but a very NAIVE and misguided man. If you think Mitt Romney’s 47 % win in Illinois is ugly then take a look at Oblama’s so called “plan” to reduce the national debt. His plan is TAX and SPEND. That’s where we have been ever since Lyndon Baines Johnson (democrat) got us in debt in Viet Nam – tax, big government programs and spend beyond our means. FIFTY years of TAX and SPEND has gotten us a 15,000,000,000,000 debt. That is what I call UGLY.

Winning by cheating doesn’t seem to be an issue either. Just look at what happened in Iowa, Washington, Maine, and several other states where all indications are that Ron Paul won. Once you eliminate the momentum, get the media to perpetuate the lies for you, you effectively reinforce the belief that he cannot win. The history of this election cycle will go down in the history books as by far the most corrupt for the GOP and the complicit media who will do everything possible to prevent Ron Paul from restoring the constitution to this country along with freedom and liberty.

$15,000,000,000 national debt but what about free birth control? In Georgia you can go to the health department even if you are rich and get free birth control. CVS sells them for $10 a month. In a 4 way race for president Oblama wouldn’t get a majority either so why does Bookman see 47 % in a 4 way race for the Repub nominee as being ugly? He is a DEM – that’s why.

Ari Fleischer should be cast as a hit man in the Godfather. Last night he coldly declared money is a form of voting, if the others were hot they could raise money. Buying an election is an American tradition which explains all you need to know about the GOP Party. A few nights ago he was calling Obama out for now supporting the super pac, a flip flopper. What is really driving Ari crazy is O lets him pick his weapon only which ever one he picks they both have the equal use of it. Wouldn’t it be cool if Mit had all the money and the president sat out the dance on moral protest. The only hope the Republicans have to win this election is to out spend , out lie, out promise the left, just as Mitt is doing to his follow Republican. When the other side has no money you can cover up a lot of wrong with yours. Ari in his GOP George Bush roots tried to bully his point across that money is not bad and if that is all you are about I guess I see his point. Mr. Smith does not go to Washington anymore, they don’t even pretend he is there. Sad but our country is not run by who can run the best commercials like everything else.

There are so many liberal morons posting here you’d think this website is for some rag in Maine, and not in Southeast. If a guy wants to use contraception, he goes and buys condoms. If a girl wants to use contraception, she can go and and purchase whatever her method of contraception is. It’s not rocket science; it’s very simple stuff. Insurance is not going to cover that. Nor should insurance cover Viagra, Cialis or other thought up garbage that is direct result of unholy communion between “doctors” and drug companies. Erectile disfunction is not a disease, and as result the little blue pill should not be covered under insurance plan. Neither should contraception be covered. What’s next, prescription for ky jelly? Or maybe for a vibrator for another disease that is yet to be dreamed up?
