Newt’s not done playing the wealth card vs. Romney
UPDATE: As the tweet to the right suggests, Newt’s not the only one who believes that Romney’s tax records make good fodder.

I think some Republicans were hoping that Newt Gingrich might stop targeting Mitt Romney’s wealth after widespread criticism that the tactic played into Democratic hands.
Yet here’s Newt today, dismissing the Romney argument that illegal immigrants would solve the problem by “self-deporting” themselves:
“You have to live in a world of Swiss bank accounts and Cayman Island accounts and automatically $20 million income for no work to have some fantasy this far from reality.”
So I guess that hope was in vain.
Two more quick points:
– Newt is doing it because he knows it’s working, even in a GOP primary. Again, that bodes poorly for Romney in a general election.
– The pleas from fellow Republicans are rather interesting. Are they asking Gingrich to put the best interests of the group ahead of his own selfish interests? What are they, Marxist or something?

I think you and I discussed that geographic special on the scientists drilling the ice core in antarctica. The consensus to most of them was that temps are rising. The good news which was stated in 1 sentence in that program- Assuming temps do rise up to even 10 degrees it would take a lag time of hundreds and more likely thousands of years before the polar ice caps and the ice sheets would completely melt. And while the paragraph I cited mentions northern ice sheets melting the antarctic ice is growing, and getting thicker. If it would take several thousand years for the ice to melt then Doomy just aint worried about it.

Romney is more versed than Gingrich when it comes to foreign policy, especially banking in Switzerland and the Cayman Islands and creating jobs in China .
President Obama has proven at least two things in his short time in office. First racism and bigotry are alive and well in America, especially within white, well-off America. Second a Black man, as President, who has done everything right and then some, who has turned around the awful economy dumped on him by the Republicans, without their help and in spite of their obstruction, still isn’t good enough for these racists and bigots.
Meanwhile, Romney, Gingrich, Santorum, Paul? The joke is on all of you who use Fox as your primary information source to the outside world.

Like you, I really hope to see the northern lights one day. What a stunner that must be!
Loved the other cosmological photos.
I know this will sound crazy, but as a young boy, I had a vivid dream that still sticks with me. It was about the night sky. In my dream, I could “see” hundreds, maybe even thousands of nebulae, dust clouds and galaxies, etc in a dizzying array of varying colors and shapes.
Mind you, this was before advances in xray, infared and normal wavelength viewing, along with color enhancement, that gives us these incredible pictures today.
Perhaps as an eight year old (or so) I had seen some of the earliest photos or artists renderings?
Other than that I have no explanation. (Other than being “gifted”! LOL!)

You watch. Should Newt get the nomination by hammering Mitts Millions, he turn in a split second to attack Obama and Democrats for the same tactic without an eye. During my Navy time in the northeast Pacific, I witnessed the Northern Lights up close and we also had the phonomiam called Saint Elmo’s Fire happen during that time. It was tres cool.
I wonder if Sarah Palin saw us out there?

Newt is doing the right thing by making Romney’s known wealth a sidebar even though it appears to many as the same tactic of the Left. The why is simple to the Right. If Romney wins out, he best be prepped and ready to defend his and the many other wealthy among us as Americans that won the game in the Land of Opportunity, and there ain’t nothing wrong with being a winner. Ask the ‘Lucky One’ that just hit 71 million on the south side…Maybe they will share their new-found wealth.
