In a political party where concession, moderation and cooperation are evil, there’s no way they rally around a candidate this November. Obama 2012 is looking pretty good. Now if the Democrats can just get their act together, they can get some effective majorities in the House and perhaps even the Senate, too.

Well, I want old Newt to win and then go on and take the White House. The reason is because this Obama is as boring as watching paint dry. I mean, at least he could pinch a intern on the fanny or something just to let us know he’s human and a real manly man.

I have not been able to find a whole lot on the briefs and the decision but I suspect its an administrative law judge who seems to have made a very foolish decision. I cannot imagine any reason that the President should be required to come to Georgia to testify on matters which the State of Hawaii have certified. The claims reqarding what is a “natural born citizen” seem rather foolish.

My question is what happens if this Administrative Judge makes a decision and orders the Georgia Secretary of state to not place the Obama electors on the ballot in Georgia? It is my understanding that the states determine whose electors meet their own qualifications to be placed on the ballot.

The real issue is a case needs to go to the Supreme Court on the definition of “natural born citizen”.

If this was happening to another country, it would be funny. But it isn’t. It’s happening to OUR country.

On one hand you have a group of people who think in order to win, they must appeal to the the extreme base (who will vote for the party not the person anyway). But in doing so, they turn off the indy voter (you know, the ones that decide elections)

On the other hand you have the incumbent. A man who, lets be honest, isn’t the best we’ve ever had. A prez, who if people were given a better choice, would not win reelection. But, given his potential challenger (Newt or Mittens) will win decidedly.

I dunno about that. If Newt get’s the GOP nomination, there’s gonna be a major day of reckoning for many in this country. For decades, one party in particular, has preached family values, Christian values, and that other feel good after a good Sunday Service type stuff.

A matchup between Newt and Obama brings a monumental decision that has to be made. Those who follow that ideology will have to choose between a man who is a positive example of family values in taking care of the kids and stuff, or Newt. They must decide whether the stuff they’ve preached actually means something or is it just a case of party over ideals.

The answer is no. Republicans can never have the resources that Democrats have. Republicans have FOX and talk radio, an average daily audience of a couple million while the Democrats have the combined mainstream with a daily audience of about 100 million. The comparison is actually laughable.

But it is noted that of all the horrible problems Obama has brought to our country, that the very best you could do to refute any of it was such a pathetic attempt.

Its all true and you know it is. Gas prices have never been this high for this time of year. Food prices are going crazy. Unemployment stats are a big lie and Obama is decreeing less and less freedom and much more dictatorial control and this is with an election coming up. Just think about what he will decree if he doesn’t need to worry about being elected. .

My post is true. The only question is will the indoctrination be enough for the American public to ignore all these horrible problems and vote for who the media tells them to vote for. Who will you vote for?

Higher taxes for the poor while slashing the safety net. More defense spending (i.e., more deficit spending). Gut regulations. Bellicose foreign policy. More dirty energy. Climate change is a hoax. Cut entitlement benefits. A Christian theocracy. And the list goes on.

Gingrich is Gingrich. A right wing, theocratic hypocrite who has one set of standards for his own personal conduct and another set of standards for everybody else. He’s the plutocrats’ plutocrat, and personally, he scares the crap out of me.

Much of the South Carolina vote I think reflected more of a protest against the media bias reflected by Williams and in particular King who Gingrich took to the woodshed on national television just before the primary vote began. Plenty more to go in this race and declaring Gingrich the Republican favorite and predestined winner is extremely premature and doesn’t even reflect current national polling of Republican voters.

Quite the contrary. The far right wing has always bordered on the ridiculous as has the far left. It’s the money and thus the access to unchecked inuendo and the ability to get it “published” that will cause both parties and our nations demise.

What was very humorous was Boehmer today on tv stating we need infrastructure spending . What the hell has he done to get not just a status quo, but an increase in funding in response to the Bush administration ignoring the nations infrastructure needs and improvements? No money? No user fee increases? Tax cuts? If we could find a way to make BS into concrete, then maybe he would have something!

As for the pipeline decision, the conserves on the Ga Gang stated the decision will remove jobs…jobs that aren’t there now! They also said that when gas goes up to $5 a gallon, people will want to know why the decision to wait was made. Phil and the host said that this pipeline would keep gas prices down. Idiots, it has to be built first! And it won’t be built in months, it will take years to build a 17000 mile pipeline.

c) with the pipeline built, can we, the people, finally NOT have to pay gas companies billion dollar subsidies to stay in business?

I think our system was FUBARed before the PAC era reached full throttle. The recent stuff with PAC spending has been going on for a long time. I find it hard to believe that a system could be set up and run as efficiently and ruthlessly as they do in such a short time. The only thing PACs have done is taken what was going on in the shadows and put it on full display for all to see.

In reference to the gas issue and prices, as much as people want to blame it on Obama, if I were his strategist, I’d make sure he takes full credit for it. That way, when people say that Obama’s anti-business and anti-free market, I would go back and show that our top export last year was gas and other refined fuels. Demand is down in the US but prices are going up. In a true free market situation, that would not happen. However, in a global market, our demand here has little effect on prices worldwide. That’s why gas prices are going up. It has nothing to do with pipeline building or anything else.

That pipeline is wanted by the oil companies to boost the amount of oil they can refine and sell on the open market. With demand going up around the world, those oil companies do not give a sh*t if gas prices go up here or not. Higher prices equal higher profits. Our prices are affected more by outside influences now. You would think that a “Center-Right” country would appreciate free market principles at work. I have yet to hear ANY media outlet, whether liberal or conservative, focus on that aspect when talking about gas prices.

The problem this country faces is a lack of educated voters. If we all tuned out this liberal/conservative bullsh*t and paid attention to only the facts present, we could straighten things out in this country without all the bullsh*t we’re currently being exposed to.

An ode to Callister’s har-doo!

Callista’s hairdo is not a “physical attribute”. It is a monumental accomplishment of technology and engineering. Likely itself a spinoff technology of advanced aerospace research, it vividly demonstrates decades of advances in chemistry, biology, material science, physics and quite possibly top secret discoveries made in a remote government facility somewhere in the deserts of Nevada.

Can it even be said to be a part of Callista the person anyway? Maybe it posses an individual intelligence and purpose, having come from outer space, landed on her head, and attached itself to her circulatory system for nourishment.

Maybe it repels government mind-control rays. Maybe it is a helmet of some kind.

Is it waterproof? Has she ever been seen in a wind?

How does she sleep on it, and how does it retain its shape the next day? Does it snap back like a crushable felt fedora?

And why? Why would anyone voluntarily want that on their head.

But to call this hairdo a mere “physical attribute” rather than a mystery so deep it may expand our knowledge of the universe, fails to fully appreciate the awesome phenomenon that is Callista Gingrich’s hairdo.

The only nightmare is the one coming to the Democrat Party. Don’t worry about the GOP, worry about Newt coming to the American electorate and eloquently exposing your failed Camelot.

I like Mitt, don’t get me wrong. Mitt is a nice guy and that’s the problem. He’s so nice that you people would have a far easier time in tryng to destroy him. No wonder you liberals want him to be the GOP nominee.

The problem with the GOP is its accomodation to opposite side of the aisle. It does not rely on deception, smear tactics, misinformation, or giving away the store to buy votes in order to stay in power. It does not try to enslave its electorate with entitlements, but tries to instill self-reliance and fiscal responsibility. Unfortunately, such bitter medicine is hard to swallow for 50% of the country that relies on government hand-outs.

Whenever the Republican Party comes into power it is assaulted by the Democrat Party with such propaganda, class warfare, misinformation, and outright contempt that the GOP looses focus while trying to appease its attackers. This tactic has served the Democrat Party well for decades.

We all know that the Democrat Party is larger by its sheer number in size. When it acts like the Santa Claus Party to illegal immigrants, minorities, labor unions, left wing environmental kooks, elitist intellectuals, Occupy types, and just plain stupid people it is difficult to preach self-reliance.

Even though the GOP controlled the House, Senate, and WH at one time not too long ago, it seemed that the Democrats were running the show. Why? Moderation and appeasement, in order to keep the Democrats happy.

This is exactly why Mitt is the wrong man for the job. He’s too nice and too moderate. You know it and I know it. Conversely, you all know that Newt is a bigger threat because he is not afraid to expose your scam on the American public. He takes away the advantage that you all have enjoyed for decades.

He is your worse nightmare.

Thanks to the EPA, we haven’t built a new refinery in the US for over 30 years. We actually have to import gas instead of crude as we no longer have the ability to produce our own.

So much for the Dept of Energy.
