Did I hear something about a wedding?
I saw a great tweet earlier today:
“i honestly don’t care about a wedding where I wasn’t invited and doesn’t have an open bar.”
My sentiments exactly.
In fact, I got a kick out of the website of the Guardian in the UK. Today’s homepage is of course dominated by news and photos of the royal wedding, but the Guardian offers a convenient button labeled “Republicans click here,” Republicans in the British context meaning those who oppose the monarchy.
Click it, and poof! — you get a homepage with absolutely no mention of the Windsor-Mountbatten/Middleton ceremony. Like it never even happened.
Clearly, though, hundreds of millions if not billions don’t share my attitude. The confluence of princess fantasies, wedding porn, the lingering grip of the British Empire on the public imagination and a celebrity culture ensures it became a much-watched media extravaganza.
Given all that, I sifted through my memory banks for an appropriate song to kick off the evening’s festivities, and only one came to mind.
(Oh, and by the way, I’ve never been able to remember which of the two British princes was which. But after seeing some of today’s photos, I now have a mnemonic device: “One of them’s Harry. The other one isn’t.” Given his growing bald spot, then-King William might be asking President Trump for a few combover tips a few years from now.)

That’s just how Republicans were raised — as hypocrites. I suggest taking them to court. You will not win any settlement because there is no law against hypocrites but you will get the satisfaction of calling out the hypocrites.

As I remember, Obama came out with his 10-year budget & what he SAID differed from what was on page 171. Even the alphabet media questioned what he SAID verses what was in his budget. He increased the federal debt by $7.2 T but the CBO said that the revenue figures were overstated & that the debt would increase by $9.5T.
Then Obama came out with his State of the (Labor) Union Speech, where he said that he wanted to invest (translated: spend) in infrastructure (translated: unions) & education (translated: teachers unions).
Then he came out with another something or other to combat Paul Ryan & the GOP, which I have yet to understand.

Trump could actually get fewer votes than Ryan after that smackdown he got from Obama. Ryan still comes in a close next to last place though ever since the elderly and the sickly and the poorly and the younger and everyone except the wealthy found out what his plan was going to do to them. They did not like it because all it did was give the wealthy people more money and let the debt keep going up too. I think they figured out who was going to get stuck with the bill.

They could have green hair, gold teeth caps, tatoos, clevage, short skirts, etc., but the best way to raise attention was to be gentlemen & ladies. Liberals stand out by using profanity & accusations, as you do. It is not becoming & does not translate to your party, especially from independents.

And if he suggested what REALLY should be done with spending cuts and balancing budgets (namely balancing the budget and cutting the debt in less than 5 years), you’d be screaming even louder and calling him even worse names.

Someone mentioned supporting our country for a change. I sure as hell did by voting last November to kick the Pelosirats out.
So gas prices continue to soar, food prices are skyrocketing, the US dollar continues to plummet (which is tied for the two aforementioned), Obama has no domestic energy policy, Gitmo is still open, we are now in a third conflict in the Middle East, Boeing wanted to move to South Carolina but Obama’s union henchmen mandated they stay in Washington, and jobs continue to go overseas.
Four more years? I don’t think so.
