No circumstance to circumscribe the circumcised
The political quirks of San Francisco have made it a favorite target of conservatives, but I’ve never been tempted to join in the sport. I mean, sure, the folks in Baghdad by the Bay can be a little out there at times, but if you don’t like it, you don’t have to move there, right?
It’s still a great city to visit, and if fate dictated that I had to live the rest of my days looking out over Fisherman’s Wharf and the Golden Gate Bridge, I guess I could probably live with that.
“Will a circumcision ban in San Francisco make, um, the final cut and appear before voters this November?
Proponents of the ban took 12,265 signatures to the Department of Elections today and should learn within a month whether 7,168 of them indeed came from registered city voters. If so, the city will have another one of its classic only-in-San Francisco measures to debate.
Wearing pins reading “May the foreskin be with you,” the backers of the ban gathered at City Hall to turn in their signatures. Then they told reporters more than anybody ever wanted to know about the increasingly controversial procedure….
The ban would outlaw circumcision in the city on any male under 18 years old – even for religious reasons. Breaking the law would count as a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of up to $1,000 and jail time for up to a year. Opponents say the ballot measure would never stand up in court because it violates the freedom of religion clause of the U.S. Constitution.”

It’s settled law that the 1st ammendment doesn’t grant the right to harm or neglect a child in the name of religion. Just ask a Snake Handler, Jehovah’s Witness, Christian Scientist, Latter Day Saint, or Muslim.
The 14th ammendment demands equal protection under the law.
Foreskin feels REALLY good. HIS body, HIS decision.

I was non-consensually circumcised and I wish I wasn’t. I would’ve liked to experience sex the way it was intended – with a foreskin.

The point is, big bidness depends on illegals, and most of the industries that depend on illegals are run by conservatives, so while your chosen representatives scream about illegals, they aren’t serious about actually doing anything about it, other than pass laws they know will be overturned (at great taxpayer expense, I might add)…

Jay, in case you haven’t figured this out yet the left and the liberals are generally NOT libertarian. Quite the contrary; they believe government exists to impose their will on the rest of us, confiscating our tax dollars to fund their big gvoernment, dictatorial (tyrannical), redistributive and racketeering schemes. Is it that off to think that every single human being derserves genital integrity? It is a cosmetic that is routinely done, and many times paid for by the federal government.

Hygiene – WRONG! Foreskins protect your dick, especially a baby one constantly exposed to feces in a diaper.
Looks – For one, WHO CARES! But if it matters that much, consider… bigger is always better, don;t reduce your kids manhood.
Religion – Did God make you as you are, or not?
Trend – Get with then! 67%+ American Parents are opting against the routine!
