U.S. Rep. John Boehner
John Boehner, who is likely to become the next speaker of the House, went on Sean Hannity’s radio show Wednesday to offer a preview of what to expect:
“This is not a time for compromise, and I can tell you that we will not compromise on our principles,” Boehner said….
As for Obama’s own agenda, Boehner promised, “We’re going to do everything – and I mean everything we can do – to kill it, stop it, slow it down, whatever we can.”
Meanwhile, according to a newly released Bloomberg poll:

Four out of five Americans want compromise. The Republicans don’t dare even entertain compromise. This is playing right to Obama’s strength. He will come across as calm, rational and reasonable. The Republicans will either come across as angry and aggressive, or they will deeply disappoint their own base.
Obama will also have history on his side. As National Journal points out, presidents who lose control of Congress in their first midterms tend to gain a political advantage:
“It’s occurred three times in the past 100 years, and in each case the minority party that took control watched the supposedly vanquished president win reelection just two years later. First, Harry Truman in 1948 (after losing 55 House and 13 Senate seats in 1946); second, Dwight Eisenhower in 1956 (after losing 18 House and two Senate seats in 1954, creating Democratic majorities that would last in the Senate until 1980 and in the House until 1994); and finally, Bill Clinton in 1996 (after losing 54 House and eight Senate seats in 1994).”

CNN poll: 52% say Obama doesn’t deserve reelection in 2012
By Michael O’Brien – 02/16/10 02:35 PM ET
52 percent of Americans said President Barack Obama doesn’t deserve reelection in 2012, according to a new poll.
44 percent of all Americans said they would vote to reelect the president in two and a half years, less than the slight majority who said they would prefer to elect someone else.
Obama faces a 44-52 deficit among both all Americans and registered voters, according to a CNN/Opinion Research poll released Tuesday. Four percent had no opinion.

Oh Please, the Republicans have been campaigning to over throw congress since Obama became President. They didn’t even give him 6 months.
If I remeber, the first Tea Party Rally was back in :
(1) February 27, 2009 to protest the Troubled Assets Relief Program (TARP) bailout bill signed by President George W. Bush in October 2008 and the ARRA stimulus bill signed by President Barack Obama ten days prior to the protest[1]
(2) April 15, 2009 to coincide with the annual U.S. deadline for submitting tax returns, known as Tax Day;[2]
[3] July 4, 2009 to coincide with Independence Day
[4]September 12, 2009 to coincide with the anniversary of the day after the September 11 attacks
[5] November 5, 2009 in Washington D.C. to protest the impending Health insurance vote;
[6] and on March 14–21, 2010 in Washington, D.C. during the final week of debate on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.[7]
Now you guys want to say it’s all about the Healthcare Bill, lowering taxes and creating JOBS.

“Bosch, you obviously dont understand the concept. Why would you refer to the opposing party as “enemies”.? .This just reinforces our argument that he is not willing to be bi-partisian”
But he didn’t actually come out and say the Republicans are the enemies.
Well, here’s what we’re gonna do. We’re gonna see how well we do in this election and I think a lot of it is gonna depend on whether we still have some support not only from Democrats, but also Republicans, but they’re gonna be paying attention to this election. And if Latinos sit out the election instead of saying, we’re gonna punish our enemies and we’re gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us, if they don’t see that kind of upsurge in voting in this election, then I think it’s gonna be harder and that’s why I think it’s so important that people focus on voting on November 2.
To me, he is talking about what kind of support the Latinos have after the elections and for them to not sit out in an attempt to punish those who the Latinos perceive as the enemy — not him personally.

The latest forecast by University of Virginia’s respected Larry Sabato is that the vast majority of Democratic losses in the House next Tuesday will be in the category of Blue Dog Democrats. I say great. If people in the House want to vote Republican, they shouldn’t be hiding behind a D after their names. More than six months ago I stated on this blog that I hoped every Blue Dog would be defeated. Looks like I’ll almost be getting my total wish. Those facts, however, are in conflict with the liberal talking points about the Tea Party as published by the DNC and disseminated by their willing accomplices in the mainstream media (i.e. Bookman, Tucker, etc) so the Dependocrats just keep merrily strolling along the path of ignorance.

EXTREME PRO-AMNESTY SENATOR HARRY REID
Senator Harry Reid is a Liberal impersonating a Dem and if he is reelected, he will be delivering AMNESTY, to the 13 to 20 million illegal foreigners His counterpart Barbara Boxer is also kowtowing to the illegal immigrant invasion of our country. Reid lied when he said there were no illegal aliens in Nevada as they swept in with the construction boom and are now pilfering the welfare system in the state. GOOGLE–Voter Fraud; or Illegal alien costs; Another major concern is that the Democrats voted–YES–on, is “totalization” agreement between the U.S. and Mexico that would grant Social Security benefits to Mexicans, including those here illegally, even if they didn’t work in the U.S. long enough to qualify for Social Security benefits. Our Senior Citizens have been gainfully employed all their life’s and these demented souls in Washington, want to share our weak Social Security and pensions with illegal aliens?
GOOGLE–illegal aliens and Social Security. Whereas the Liberal-Democrats use the spin, rhetoric who splash on every page of the Liberal press that Tea Party members are anti- immigrant and this is not–TRUE?
If you want to compete for jobs in the future, then go ahead and vote the so-called Democrats back to power.
This is strictly about the “Rule of Law” and that coming to USA is a prestigious gift from the American People, who are represented by our government. Entering this great country without consent is an illegal act against all Americans. Therefore this is a crime committed by illegal aliens–NOT LEGAL IMMIGRANTS. The Tea Party will not become political pawns of the Republican Party, its elitist’s views like John Boehner or any philosophies that is epidemic of GOP demagogues. The Tea Party is a very large moderate Conservative percentage of the US, who are impulsive enough to return these United States of America back to its people
Less educated citizens have been programmed to believe that this seventh AMNESTY isn’t going to cost the taxpayers–ANYTHING. But ask Robert Rector, Chief analyst at the Heritage Foundation that taxes will go up, to pay the 2.6 TRILLION dollar bill. Slowly this federal government is growing and spreading and we can only hope that the Tea Party candidates will begin reduction in this administration–TAX and SPEND–monstrosity. Yesterday the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals yesterday threw out part of an Arizona law requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote, but left standing a section requiring registered voters to present proof of identification to cast a ballot. This at least can divorce most non-citizen voters from casting a vote. This is extremely significant in tight races, when only say 800 voters can have a completely different outcome to who goes to Washington or State assembly.
To be fair, every polling location should have one Democrat and one Republican and an Independent as oversight referees to check for absentee ballots irregularities. This is where the honor system is most weak. With the money wasted by Democrats, Republicans it would be prudent to have a national Voter Identification card, with fingerprint and picture to halt for good any form of spurious voting. Vote for Candidates of the TEA PARTY, as our agenda is to remove the taint of escalating power of an out-of-control government, shrinking its size, reintroduce the instruction of the US CONSTITUTION and return the empowerment of the People from the overzealous and arrogant politicians. Tea Party will conform to the citizen’s referendum and not to the Socialist plan of President Obama and the majority of Democrats.
By the end of this election, illegal aliens will have figured out how easy it is, to check off Senator Harry Reid, Barbara Boxer, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and even Jerry Brown on absentee ballots? This is not just saying Voter fraud is prevalent in the Border States, but every state is equally at risk. Consider the situation that Border States are heavily impregnated with foreign nationals, more so in California, Nevada, New Mexico and Texas. That Senator Harry Reid has promised them some form of mass path to citizenship, if they vote for him in this midterm. Now when illegal aliens have already committed one offense by entering America, so committing a second crime by voting is certainly insignificant to people after the first crime. The fact that potentially filling out a registration forms to vote at home opens a gaping loophole in the voting process.
It is a certainty that hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrant homes have in that family group at least one unprocessed person, therefore illegal entrant. That anybody can get from the Post Office, Drivers License Department a voter registration or by canvassers of which Acorn had the monopoly of this vulnerable system. Senator Reid has already proved this, by–BUYING–votes for himself, with free food and drink. Other questions should be asked about SEIU union who have a past history of voter fraud, should not be allowed any intimate programming contact with electronic voting machines. or within certain any legal distance near polling sites. Then again, in Orange County Democrats gave illegal aliens the right to prospect for votes in neighborhoods. With majority leader Harry Reid promising-AMNESTY, that any new administration and then–whatever political party is seated–better take note of the public’s fury that the majority of Americans will not sign on to any form of Amnesty whatsoever. IF ANY POLITICAL PARTY OR GOVERNMENT AGENCY HAD ANY TRUE COMMITMENT TO HALTING ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION, THEY WOULD MAKE ILLEGAL ENTRY A CLASS ONE FELONY?
Two Skeletons in Senator Harry Reid’s closet: GOOGLE– In 1998, Reid bought undeveloped land on the edge of Las Vegas for $400,000 in a deal set up by friend and lawyer Jay Brown, whose name has popped up in organized crime probes. In 2001, Reid sold the land for the same price to a company formed by Mr. Brown in exchange for a share in the company. Reid didn’t disclose the sale or note his stake in Brown’s company. No document exists that proves Reid’s stake.Brown fought for and obtained rezoning of the residential property to commercial use. The land was sold for $1.1 million in 2004. Reid reported a personal sale. This is a matter for investigation by the ethics committee, the feds and Nevada. GOOGLE–In November 2005 the Associated Press reported that Senate Minority Leader Reid had accepted tens of thousands of dollars from an Abramoff client, the Coushatta Indian tribe, after interceding with Secretary of the Interior Gail Norton over a casino dispute with a rival tribe.

We shall see my liberal friend. All I know is that your team had the chance to do some good and look what it has gotten us. Higher unemplyment, tax increases on the way, a war that first you did not want , now it is a good thing, and a healthcare bill that we can not afford. Yeah, Hope & Change was great. And Bookman thinks he will get voted a second term.

Nice of you to jump in, Jay. Please reread my posts. I said nothing about approval ratings. I was referring to the maniacal left who was hell bent on destroying W’s Presidency because it was either “stolen”, or it was “given to him by the Supreme Court”. That simple. Didn’t mean to rile you.

Harry, as I recall, a lot of liberals and Democrats supported the concept, but a good number opposed the Bush approach because it was basically a giveaway of tax dollars to the highly influential pharmaceuticals industry. Time has proved that assessment correct.

Great point. Blue dogs make up about 20% of the dems but will sustain about 40% of the losses. If those seats are gonna side with the GOP, better those seats have a republican in them. These clowns caused more harm in the last 2 years than the GOP did.

If they aren’t Republicans, why do they all have an (R) after their names on the ballot? If they are Tea Party and aren’t really Republicans; I would think they would refuse to have an (R) behind their name in any way, shape or form.

You TPers would be falling over yourselves trying to find novel and nasty ways to blame the attack on Obama. Don’t even bother denying it.”

Most of you bigots want state control, that why you call him that, well some Americans have seen how states have screwed up, (Civil Rights)(Bail out money) we dont want a person like Nathan Deal who voted against civil rights to control us, we have enough bigots here in state govenment.

Being a republican or democrat, you cannot speak for the mindset of an indie. Some lean right, some lean left, most just look at the candidate’s qualifications, not the R or D next to their name.
As for me, I supported Newt and his gang in 94. That backfired so bad, I have not voted for the GOP since.

Nobody said hey weren’t Republicans. I implied that it is inaccurate to portray tea party candidates as blindly loyal to the Republican party, or to portray them as “moe of the same” candidates. I thought liberals were all about “nuance”? Because you seem remarkably unable to distinguish fine shades of meaning.
