Time to surrender to the lunacy around us

Yeah, I’m afraid the country’s going a bit crazy. You might have noticed that as a recurring theme in this week’s posts.

And since it’s the end of a busy week and I lack the energy and internal fortitude to resist it any longer, I guess I have no choice but to surrender to the lunacy myself.

Therefore….

Damn. What an odd video

After working my butt off the past couple days, I am rewarded with a nice treat:

Canapes with roast beef, marinated mushrooms, horseradish sauce and goat cheese — shrimp salad, salami on toast squares and terriyaki chicken skewers…….

And to wash it all down a big cold bottle of Perrier.

Yes, the world may be crazy, but where I’m sitting crazy tastes pretty good!!!

GOOD GRIEF ! Now the Buddists are breaking bad ………………

CHITTAGONG, Bangladesh (BP)–”Buddhist extremists detained eight Chakma Christians, members of a Baptist church in the Chittagong Hill Tracts of Bangladesh, for four days in August.

The extremists held the men — a pastor, church secretary, village leader and five church members — captive in a Buddhist temple to attempt to force them to return to Buddhism, international Christians Grady and Josette Lindem* reported.”

This self-agrandizing piece of trash picked a fine time to do it because she knows she now has the full support of Obama, Pelosi and Reid. They love to fritter money away on needless causes and nutcases. What about the 111 million dollar throw-away in Cal to save 55 jobs using stimulus spending? Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy, doesn’t it? What does that come to per job created?

From Inherit the Wind:

“Fanaticism and ignorance is forever busy, and needs feeding. Soon we’ll be marching backward to the 16th century, where bigots burned the man who dared bring enlightenment and intelligence to the human mind. Hooligans of the world, unite! You have nothing to burn but your intellectuals. You’ll be setting man against man, creed against creed, ad nauseum. Darwin was wrong. Man is still an ape, his creed still a totem pole.”

There’s nothing “moderate” about the Democrat party or the liberal establishment (entertainment/news/universities).

Sometimes you gotta fight fire with fire. And since a communist freak invaded the white house in ‘08, it’s time to bring out the A-Team.

Did not say a right to vote…but that is in Georgia’s constitution.

The federal constitution does provide for the right of electors to elect the federal government. Again, those electors are selected by the people. Again, why do you hate America?

What does the 2d Amendment have to do with November? Besides I am not whining, I believe that the Dems will do much better than originally anticipated and as Karl Rove has stated the Dems are keeping control of the Senate. We still have the Presidency and come 2012 there will be a Dem voting wave that will likely put an end to the Republican party….hopefully moderate Republicans will rise and reject the rabid right and crazy cons and maybe help keep this country on the right track Obama has started.
