A sorry tune for tonight’s Travelin’ Music seems right

If he’s good enough for Rush Limbaugh…

Anyway, with everybody apologizing to each other, and then apologizing for apologizing, I thought this would be appropriate.

Or, as Joe Barton said to Tony Hayward, “What do I have to do to make you love me?”

It’s a sad sad situation, and it’s getting more and more absurd.

True story – In Munich in 1988, I got the clap from a Norwegian girl named Sari. As if the name wasn’t enough of a slap in the head. But note, I was 19 and the judgement of such age.

Ever since, this tune has haunted my existence and my unit:

This song was done a few years back by Trace Adkins, who spent about 6 years working on a Gulf oil rig. It seems prophetic now, especially for the 11 who aren’t coming back.

As for me I’ve got places to go people to see, and drinks to drink ….”Stay thirsty my friends”!

Your post is another instance of Democrats/liberals distracting from the issue at hand.

The federal government- to whom we pay the most taxes- is too BIG to act on local emergencies.
Every solution from the current Administration requires vast amounts of someone else’s money.

Urban Republican said need to focus on jobs not hand-outs!

What do you think they’re doing? If all those people lose their jobs they will need unemployment payments to help feed their families while they look for new work. What are those payments? You call them hand-outs, right?

Now, if we get the company that CAUSED the problem to pay into this fund, we can use that money to help the people who lose their jobs!

Understand? Either the US taxpayer helps these people or the company tht caused the problem helps these people? See?? Use your head!

BP is sorry it polluted thr Gulf. O is sorry because he sat on his a$$ instead of kicked some a$$ earlier. Coast Guard is sorry because it has to halt boats getting oil out of the water to make sure they have life preservers and fire equipment (Like GDNR on a busy day at lake Lanier). Department of energy is sorry is failed to do its job for decades. Democrats are sorry that this happened while they were in charge and they still cant stop the leak after 60 day. Republicans are happy this did not happen when Bush was in charge. Finally the most happy person is that lady who O appointed to the Supreme Court. Every one has forgotten her name , and will not give a hoot about the hearings or her qualifications as long as the oil keeps gushing. Leave anyone out?

Al Gore, Bill Clinton and Barrack Obama go to heaven …

God addresses Al first.. ”Al, what do you believe in ?”

Al replies: “Well, I believe that I won that election,

but that it was your will that I did not serve..

And I’ve come to understand that now.”

God thinks for a second and says:

“Very good. Come and sit at my left.”

God then addresses Bill. “Bill, what do you believe in ?”

Bill replies: “I believe in forgiveness.

I’ve sinned, but I’ve never held a grudge against my fellow man,

and I hope no grudges are held against me.”

God thinks for a second and says:

“You are forgiven, my son. Come and sit at my right.”

Then God addresses Barack. “Barack, what do you believe in ?”
