If Sarah Palin is a blank page, after being elected governor, and rooting out corruption in her own party, then President Obama is a page that has not even shown up. His main accomplishment is eloquently apologizing and voting present in the Illinois legislature repeatedly. He also is excellent at bowing to the unelected king of Saudi Arabia.

Who's misbehavin' now?

I usually referred to Sarah Palin as The Lovely Gove.....'member
I frequently said I'd love to have her over for a luncheon.

I do however think Caribou Barbie was funny as hell...

Gosh. I raised a stink. But this may have turned out better because I got pulled away and could not respond promptly.

jewcowboy:
Thanks for asking about Frank. I did do that intentionally. And yes it was because he is gay. I would never use the term f*gg*t. I am sorry that you felt compelled to. Had I been here to respond promptly maybe you would not have done that.

I hoped to draw attention to what I see as the affinity of Progressives to go after someone in a gang-like manner. I think the comments about Palin speak for themselves. There were plenty of sexual references including one about her giving someone an erection.

So I thought here was an opportunity to show the progressive double standard. Attack the Conservative especially the female Conservative in any way we can. But if a Conservative even hints an off color attack on a Progressive bring him down. Bring him down hard.

So we had a little frenzy of feeding on Palin follow by a lesser, but perhaps more intense, feeding on Joey. It's O.K. I can deal with it.

Let me be clear about one thing.
Gays are not my enemy and I am not an enemy of Gays.

Gale,

"I would not, however send everyone to battle.

I agree, send the others to work in restaurants and service jobs, so they know what responsibility and service is about.

Personally, I would require national service for all, omitting only those completely incapable of independent action. I would not, however send everyone to battle. I think troops facing combat should be more mature than the young people we currently put on the battle front. Perhaps a little more to your point, jewcowboy, I would like to see politics out of the business of war. That would be difficult in our form of government. But I think the long wars we have been enbroiled in have been because we don't let the military fight the war. Once we have decided to send in troops, the politicians should stand back.
