Ironically, Maine is a very liberal state. The only way you can get gay marriage in is for activist judges to legilate from the bench. Everytime it’s put to public vote, it goes down in flames.
Nobody wants this save for a very small segment. Even in Oregon and Washington, gay marriage was shot down in public vote.

Left or Right, most people don’t want this, period.

Thanks. I just can’t understand this Gay Marriage issue. The dumocrates see this group as a voting block that they can cater to and the MSN see them as another far-left cause that they can support. The homosexual community sure don’t do their cause favors with these Gay Pride marches. Sane people see pic’s from these events and it only furthers the belief that this life style couldn’t be acceptable let alone natural.

Gov, Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof... You wouldn't be trying to prohibit the free exercise of religion, now would you pardner? I know it may not be your cup of tea but then your religious intolerance towards other Christian Americans seems downright un-American. I'll grant you that prayer would not be my first choice for treatment were I to have a massive cardiac infarction, but I wouldn't mind a few prayers being sent heavenward on my behalf. In fact, I'd feel much better knowing there were people who cared that deeply about my welfare. But then that takes us headlong into the psychology of healing which you've noticeably not addressed. I'm sure you'll bring us up to date on that medical issue after you stop forming at the mouth.

I watched CNN about a hour before the election results were coming in and CNN were already stating if this election went to the Repulicans/conservatives that is was not because of Obama. They saw it coming and started defending the president they helped to get into office. It was shameful behavior by Cnn to watch their cover up for Obama’s failures.

Re: the Maine outcome, I don’t know about traditionalist lightning rod’s, however, the homosexual community won’t budge on their “Gay Marriage” demands. I’m a traditionalist and while I can’t speak for all who believe that way, I think that most have no problem with civil unions. A civil union could even apply to a heterosexual couple who have chosen not to marry or re-marry but rather share life together for companionship. Gay or straight if someone works all of their life and they want to allow their benefits to confer to a member of the same sex, it should be a legal option for them. I think I’m correct in believing that Civil Union laws now exist in most states. Since traditional marriage has for the most part provided for the prospect of children being born from the marriage and that homosexual’s can’t procreate, why then is “Gay Marriage” so important. It would appear that the motive is to make the homosexual life style as natural and as acceptable as the sexual relationship between a man and a woman. As evidenced in the Maine vote the majority of Americans just don’t accept homosexuality as a natural life style suitable for a traditionally legal marriage union.

Did Virginia and New Jersey elections tell you they wanted more healthcare? You liberals should be kicked out as soon as possible because you can not lead and your goals are personal ideologies–prayer-based treatments, non existing green jobs, and the global warming hoax.
