You need to learn the difference between naturally saturated fats and TRANS-fats. Naturally saturated fats come off the animal or plant saturated. Trans-fats are artificially saturated via the process of hydrogenztion, which adds hydrogen to the fats and makes them solid at room temperature.

There is a HUGE difference between them and trans-fats are actually detrimental to our health, but if we totally eliminated fats, including naturally saturated fats, from our diets we would die from lack of fat.

That’s why butter is better than margerine. Because butter is a naturally saturated fat…margerine is a trans fat.
