with which to weave a beautiful national tapestry. Don’t mess it up, or you’ll have to start all over again from the beginning!
October 25th, 20096:51 am
Yeah, we’ll get right on that.

Does anyone else notice this administration seems to have a really hard time with numbers? 100 million plus vaccines by this date.. only 11 million available.. oops..
October 25th, 20099:17 am
Going Broke: Where do you think they got those numbers? Honest industry?
October 25th, 20099:21 am
Those numbers came from the CDC, which admitted the manufacturing processes are taking longer than they that they were. Anybody who knows anything about manufacturing knows that one process taking longer than normal (like growing the virus) is going to disrupt the process.

Where can I go to get a swine flu vaccination?
October 25th, 20099:43 am
Judging by 80% of the first ten comments this national tapestry isn’t going to turn out very well.
“100 million plus vaccines by this date.. only 11 million available.. oops..”
It’s just SO sad to see someone losing faith in their Messiah. Maybe you didn’t pray hard enough.
What! What! What'd I do! What!
October 25th, 20099:51 am
Why, it may be unethical for the state of Georgia to accept an abundance of flu vaccines with the knowledge that such an acceptance may restrict another person’s access to said vaccine. Of course, if said vaccines are each worth less than $25, then who cares who receives them.

Nope…no more than I wonder why your parents don’t get YOU vaccinated.

My favorite Mother Jones one is when, at nearly 100 she was being honored by a stellar gathering that included Mrs. Roosevelt. The person introducing her called her “a great humanitarian…” at which point Mother Jones shouted, “I’m not a great humanitarian! I’m a h*ll raiser!”
How many religions? Well, that’s why nothing is getting done–Friday off for the Muslims, Saturday for the Jews and Sunday for the Christians…

This guy has a good take on the Miscreant with a Shotgun…
NEW YORK (CNN)– Controversial freshman Rep. Alan Grayson, who has become famous for attacking the Republicans’ health care plan, went on the attack again Friday night, calling former Vice President Dick Cheney a vampire for his recent criticism of the Obama administration’s handling of the war in Afghanistan.
“I have trouble listening to what [Cheney] says sometimes because of the blood that drips from his teeth while he’s talking,” the Florida Democrat said on MSNBC’s Hardball Friday night. “But my response is this: he’s just angry because the president doesn’t shoot old men in the face. But by the way, when he was done speaking, did he just then turn into a bat and fly away?”

The amusing thing is: if he DID get them vaccinated now, why then his detractors would want to know why HIS children are “special” and get to be vaccinated before other “more deserving” children get vaccinated.
With Obama and his detractors it’s ALWAYS going to be “DIYD, DIYD”

October 25th, 200910:55 am
Funny, isn’t it, how the conned are all about “personal responsibility”…except when they aren’t?
October 25th, 200910:56 am
Roubini: I don’t believe in market discipline. It doesn’t work. That was the ideology of the last 10 years; self-regulation means no regulation. Market discipline doesn’t exist with irrational exuberance and reliance on internal risk management models that don’t work. Nobody listens to risk managers, because it’s risk takers that make the profits. The reliance on ratings agencies that have their own conflicts of interest, the reliance on soft-touch regulation, the focus on principles instead of rules—that particular regulatory philosophy has been a disaster, and we’ve learned it the hard way. We have to go to simpler rules, tougher rules and more binding rules. That’s the right approach.

From what I know of Christian Science, it is no less bizarre or irrational than the other Jesus cults.
DoggoneGa, good point.
No matter the scenario, no matter the possible options, no matter what ANY non neo-con EVER does, the faithful will find a way to flame them. It is their godly duty to vilify such heretics and enemies of the state.
And conversely these Christianas STILL shuck and grin for DickHead, the acknowledged and unrivaled modern master on getting American kids KIA’d needlessly.

October 25th, 200911:16 am
“Personal responsibility except when it’s not beneficial to their argument.”
And the funny thing is, they don’t REALLY UNDERSTAND what “personal responsibility” actually means. For them, it’s more like “do as I say, not as I do”- than it is TRUE personal responsibility.

October 25th, 200911:49 am
hurt my foot on Frida
Where’s the concern for poor Frida?
October 25th, 200911:51 am
RW–no doubt it will be! Glad I got to see it. Going serious here for a minute, but I stay into it on “both sides of the aisle” because on the one hand I refuse to be a victim due to any number of my “labels,” p*ssing off the liberals, and on the other won’t “forget all that,” p*ssing off their c*nfederates on the right.
As an example, I got pulled on the carpet here for postulating that the reason so many liberals were taking such a vicious anti-Israeli stance was because the Jews there had refused to rely on the outside world ever so “sympathetic” to the victims of anti-Semitism, but then once the “victim” refused to play the role, turned on them with a vengeance. The same could be said for gays who dared to not cringe in fear and self-loathing and dared to get up, build relationships and take matters into our own hands–i.e. how dare we not be grateful for Ima Gonna’s promises and feel good rhetoric.
A lot of folks get mad when I as an unashamed and unabashed liberal make the point that when it comes to “change,” I’ve seen far more of it from the conservative elements. The pro-Israeli stance so many take is the result of an admiration for the self-reliance of a group of people who refused to be type cast as “helpless.” When I mention D*ckhead Cheney’s support of gay rights, I get a the party line memo of him “only” doing it when “his own” came out. So? His was a 180 degree change which is, in the long run, a lot more than the wiffle-waffle of those who are supposed to be more enlightened…
So long as the “oppressed” minority, whatever the minority, buys into the “you poor thing” mentality, they will remain oppressed. While I do not want to appear ungrateful for the support from “others,” only when “they” come to realize that it is not their sympathy and charity I want, but to be left alone to be an equal.
October 25th, 200911:55 am
Is it considered an error in my ways if I have a few PBR’s while watching football?
October 25th, 200911:59 am
Have a few PBRs for me while you’re at it…have to be a responsible and upright homo sapiens today myself!
October 25th, 200912:00 pm
“Where’s the concern for poor Frida?”
Ok, Ok…so you’re having problems with Gs and for me it’s Ys!
October 25th, 200912:01 pm
While I do not want to appear ungrateful for the support from “others,” only when “they” come to realize that it is not their sympathy and charity I want, but to be left alone to be an equal.
I’ve told the story here before but one of the main reasons I’m a conservative stems from seeing a gas station when I was 6 years old that had three bathrooms. Men, women, and colored and it hit me as horribly wrong. As time went on I realized that conservatives were far more willing to accept everyone as equals, but that also meant the “group” seeking equal treatment also had to be willing to live with the downside of equality while it seemed that most liberals wanted to keep a victim class around that they could service from time to time but keep them in enough of a struggle to stay on the proverbial plantation.
October 25th, 200912:03 pm
Look around voters (Sorry, not you Meg Whitman), to be a Republican these days is to be more confused, depressed and paranoid than an awkward teenager on Lithium.
Seeing bogeymen hiding everywhere. Murdering Michigan Mooslims, job-stealing Mexicalis, ungodly Sodomites and the always shiftless, looking for a handout Those People.
Even in blogdom they see strange multi-named apparitions. And obsess over such minutiae while their so-called leaders aided and abetted in the attempted bankrupting of a entire nation and who got tens of thousands criminally killed and maimed to clear the Chosen One’s family name.
The funniest aspect of this bewilderment is how they desperately cling to that hijacked, now laughably meaningless term “conservative”.
As though that holy idiom will somehow magically visit upon them the safety and purity of Ronnie of Nazareth and shield them against all forms of self-created delusions, deadly ineptitude and unabashed depravity and destructiveness.
Yet they cannot even begin to adequately describe or define it. Much less explain their now repudiated BushCo-loving take on it.
So go ahead conned, talk among yourselves and justify this corrupt “conservative” legacy.
A beautiful, globally warmed day awaits…
October 25th, 200912:04 pm
And with that poorly constructed run-on sentence I’ll head out to do my errands.

And my time was running wild A million dead-end streets and
Every time I thought I’d got it made
It seemed the taste was not so sweet
So I turned myself to face me
But I’ve never caught a glimpse
Of how the others must see the faker
I’m much too fast to take that test
(turn and face the strain)
Don’t tell them to grow up and out of it

Where’s your shame
You’ve left us up to our necks in it
Time may change me
But you can’t trace time

So the Repuboputzotards want to keep borrowing from the Chinese and Japanese on Afghanistan and Iraq but to deny basic health care over budget concerns.
And victory in Iraq continues with 132 people blown to bits in synchronized car bombings. The Repuboputzotards measure victory by how many body parts get scattered in the streets of Iraq. Repubozos continue to be the death party.
Repubozoputzotard web sites push refusing the H1N1 vaccine. Another way for them to push death. How many repuboputzotards will die in the next few months because they refused the vaccine? Stay tuned.
More Georgians who stupidly don’t vaccinate continue to be hospitalized raising your insurance pool costs. Sonny Purdue dumb and silent as always. No mayoral candidates gonna talk about the public safety of vaccinating.
Georgia has a secret plan the AJC won’t publish to kick you off a respirator in 2 days if the coming months show mutation and things ramp up. Your Sonny won’t tell you about it cause he’s your Sonny. It’s a cookie cutter plan.

October 25th, 20092:17 pm
The Consumer Financial Protection Agency bill, HR 3621, was passed by the Barney Frank’s House Financial Services Committee. On Friday, and unfortunately it was watered down exempting all kinds of businesses.
A number of financial businesses were exempted: car dealers, insurance companies, and retail credit, like department store installment sales contracts. Another amendment limits the inspection of community banks.
It does nothing to stop predatory lending whose laws in states are weak.
It remains to be seen how banks’ ability to raise credit card rates anytime without notice or enrollment in overdraft protection that has rates raised without notice will be impacted.

Hey! I’ve got an idea for 2012!
Why don’t we elect an obvious mental midget who was a quasi-dunce even though he got the best education daddy could buy!
The kind with zero intellectual curiosity who gets his instructions from god!
Thew kind who was a dismal failure at moist everything he ever tried!
The kind who disappeared for an entire year while in the ANG to stump for some no name Alabama GOP hack.
Then we’ll wrap him up in the cloak of fake conservatism and as a War President so that other mental midgets will fall for it!
Then we’ll stand by and cheer while he wrecks an entire country in less than a decade!
yeah…that’s the ticket…

Loopy Laura Ingram showing up on the Stepho panel today proclained you can ignore all the polls overwhelmingly for public option because the Repubozoputzo Extremist Tards who call her program are completely weeweed up because Faux and Rush tell them to be weeweed up. She continued to praise the talk radio station on TV that called the President’s wife his “baby momma” a phrase repeated by white yokel hicks that couldn’t cut it in the eighth grade.

Why hasn’t any Repuboputzotard in Congress introduced the DRAFT to start immediately?

What’s up with Empress Snowe trying to gut all the protections for consumers in state insurance laws? Snowe stupidly pushing the crap policy across state lines that can charge cadillac rates and ignore any coverage requirements. It’s DOA just like Empress Snowe representing the 40th largest state. Soon you’ll never hear her name just like before.
Repuboputzotards always claim to be champions of federlaism aka states’ rights and continue to try to pass laws that strip the states of their rights in realitysimply because like Snowe they are hookers for large corporate interests like insurance companies and pharmaceutical comapnies.
Empress Snowe is headed for the guillotine next month.

Bring back the goodole Bush-Cheney days for Josef “I wannit right nowa”.
Josef will look good on that Little Dick Cheney Bachmann 2012 bandwagon.
Josef wants healthcare stalled so DADT can be front and center in October in stead of January.
Maybe Josef can explain why only 5% of Georgia parents and schools has vaccinated their little babuhs. Does they think death is the ultimate graduation? Teachers are refusing vaccination in the same proportion.
Has anyone from the schools in a leadership position said word one about getting students vaccinated? Hell No.
Imagonna Immagonna (die if it mutates).

Josef, I don’t remember David Bowie looking that young!
October 25th, 20092:36 pm

The New York Times: The United Nations has assigned an official, “a special rapporteur on the right to adequate housing,” to check the city’s affordable housing. The rapporteur, Raquel Rolnik, is to tour the city for the next three days with housing advocates and city officials to “hear the voices of those who are suffering on the ground,” she said.
Bwarney Fwank didn’t do enough damage, I suppose the US economy is still somewhat alive, so now the libs are sending in the heavy socialists to finish us off.
You know what, the United Nations can KMA.
Why don’t they go to Kenya and help Obozo’s mmm, mmmm, mmmmm, brother?
The Italian edition of Vanity Fair said that it had found George Hussein Onyango Obama living in a hut in a ramshackle town of Huruma on the outskirts of Nairobi.
Rancid human beings all, UN freaks, probably here to scope out some new blood in their little girl rape industry.
And the worst part, Obozo will bow before them.
Issackson and Chambliss, evil twins

Maybe Josef can explain why only 5% of Georgia parents and schools has vaccinated their little babuhs.
I didn’t know that Obozo, mmm, mmmm, mmmmm, and Idi Amin lived in Georgia.
Can you or any other AJC journalists ask whether or not he GOP candidates for governor would lead state to opt out of a public health insurance option should it pass? Even if it would lower premiums for Georgia citizens? On the record …
