fwiw, Brown was never loved and wasn’t elected to the position. since you evidently don’t understand UK politics: the labour PARTY was elected in the last general (at the time, Tony was still at the helm) – Tony stepped down and Brown took his place. the PEOPLE had nothing to do with it, one way or the other.
