Here’s a loony choice for tonight’s travelin’ music
Well, since the rocket scientists at NASA literally shot the moon this morning, no doubt knocking it off its axis and altering its gravitational impact on Earth, which in turn caused the Nobel Committee to time jump a decade ahead and honor Barack Obama for stuff he hasn’t even done yet, I thought it only proper to commemorate the event with a moon song.
We had lots of choices, from “Blue Moon” to “Moon River” to “Dark Side of the Moon” and even “Shoot the Moon” by Norah Jones. But in the end I settled on this beautiful number from the brothers down New Orleans’ way. Travelin’ music at its best on a Friday evening…. Peace out, y’all.

Pertaining on the subject downstairs on the NPP, when Gore won one it pretty much told the world that the old prize doesn’t mean that much anymore and it is now being used as a political banner.

Regarding the Piece Price:
How’s this for irony. Gorbachev was awarded the Piece Price for moving his country from Communism/Socialism towards Democracy/Capitalism. Obama was awarded the Piece Price for moving his country from Democracy/Capitalism towards Socialism.
