There is only one way to rid a democracy of a dictator and that is by the barrel of a gun. This is why our founding fathers created the second amendment. They knew the m.o. of the despot and that the only thing that stands between a free people and utter tyranny is a well armed citizenry. I have never been a “gun nut,” but as this administration goose steps to out and out dictatorship I am beginning to see the need for armed revolution. The purpose is not to transform America, but to restore it from the clutches of evil. They have taken over the nation’s healthcare system, its banking system, part of the auto industry, loans to go to college, powers to shut down the internet if they want to, and now their liberal accomplices in the media are talking about shutting down Fox News. This is the final straw my friends. A line must be drawn in the sand. If this happens, I believe revolution is coming.

It is ashame that we still have racism in America today. It shows every day when we look at the news , people are making a mockery of there own President. If you do not have the solution to Americas problem, please do us all a favor. Be quiet!!! People can criticize what progress is being made but you would be a fool to sit back and make smart cracks about someone who is trying to make a change. What are you doing about this country situation? Not a thing at all!!!!

Our current Congress and Obama don’t want to dump the constitution.They want to reinterpret it in their own image becuase they believe it is a,”Living Document” that changes with society.
So yeah they want to tear it up and write their own.
Don’t be shocked if you see something major coming from them during the 2010 elections.I doubt they will let go of their power even after they have failed.

President Obama has managed to keep the country and the world together for 9 months, now. Not bad considering when he came to power, people were concerned about the immediate collapse of the dollar and a severe depression.

He put 21000 additional troops in Afghanistan and is now weighing he should put in 40000 more or rely on other tactics. Personally, I hope he talks the Russians into helping us out in Afghanistan. I wouldn’t stick anymore people in Afghansistan, that place broke the Soviet Union. We don’t want to waste billions fighting mountain tribesmen who consider geurilla fighting a national pasttime.

In Saturday’s AJC, Thomas Friedman warned of those who seek to “delegitimize the President. Sowell provides the best example of one of those people. His column in Oct 6 AJC continues his Hitler/Obama theme. Here’s quote from another column by Sowell published Oct 6 in another publication. I am not sure if Mr. Sowell appreciates the harm.

You know, I swear I heard the same people saying the same thing about Bush two years ago… but no one was advocating the overthrow of the (s)elected President then. Funny how Republicans only care about democracy when it suits their needs.

I didn’t vote for Obama, but I’m disgusted and shocked by what the conservative movement’s been saying. I disagreed with a lot of Bush policies (war in Iraq, faith-based organizations), and I disagree with a lot of Obama policies (kowtowing to the Iranians, raising taxes), but EITHER WE ARE A DEMOCRACY OR WE’RE NOT. You can’t just call for a military coup every time you lose an election, or we’ll turn into Thailand.

If you have a political point to make and you want to influence a democracy, the way to do it is to gather your votes and strengthen your party and win the next election. It sickens me that Republicans are trying to blow Obama up to be a dictator. Their man Bush was the one, after all, who suspended habeas corpus and gutted the Constitution. I consider myself a swing voter, but this kind of rhetoric is what most turns me off from the Republican party, because frankly it’s UN-AMERICAN TO CALL FOR THE OVERTHROW OF A DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED PRESIDENT. If they want the votes of average Americans in the next election, the Republicans ought to learn to show some respect for our institutions.
