The first time I ever heard of Bruce Springsteen was freshman year at Penn State. Some kid from New Jersey brought up the name in a conversation, bragging that this Springsteen guy was going to be the biggest thing in rock and roll since Dylan and the Beatles.
Right, I thought. Because those Jersey guys would NEVER exaggerate, especially about Jersey things.
Then “Born to Run” came out, and they went and put the guy on the cover of Time magazine, and then on Wednesday the guy turned 60. Some other stuff may have happened in between, but I’m getting too old to remember.
(By the way, this guy shares a 9/23 birthday with Springsteen, and he’s pretty damn cool in his own right.)

Congrats to two Repubozo entities showing their colors as usual.
Atlanta’s Republican poll group Strategic Vision LLC acused of forging polls and sanctioned. They are heavy contributors to the RNC’s fraud.
Climbing onto the Repubo Federal Prizon Bus is California Congressman John DoLittle. Now it’s time to go on Dancing With the Stars which is the traditional Repubozo pre-conviction warm-up of choice.
You make us proud; you’re great Americans; you’re takin’ this country back like Katy Abram wants.

Sing a song of hypocrites, Republicans have been in an uproar recently over video footage of children at a New Jersey elementary school singing the praises of President Barack Obama. The outrage has been fueled mainly by a constant drumbeat from conservative media. But on Friday it boiled over into the realm of political opportunism when the Republican National Committee sent out a fundraising appeal calling the episode an “indoctrination of our nations… children” and “fanaticism.”
“Friend,” RNC Chairman Michael Steele wrote, “this is the type of propaganda you would see in Stalin’s Russia or Kim Jong Il’s North Korea. I never thought the day would come when I’d see it here in America.”
Alas, such “propaganda” has not been limited to despots, dictators and the Obama White House. As a savvy source points out, back in 2006 children from Gulf Coast states serenaded First Lady Laura Bush with a song praising the President, Congress, and Federal Emergency Management Agency for their response to — of all things — Hurricane Katrina…

TRION — The river doesn’t care. It never thinks about how long families have lived near its banks. It has no memory of children skipping stones from one brushy side to the other. It will be here when these people are gone.-Urinal

Oh yeah, that was two years ago, I can’t keep my scare mongering straight this early in the morning.

This is the America that I know-
Campgrounds offer more independence than homeless shelters, which often have strict rules, he said. And they let families to stay together; most shelters are segregated by sex.
Some campgrounds frown upon being seen as this type of host. Timberline is different.
Manager Tammy Page hasn’t kept count but knows the number of people moving here for economic reasons has increased in the past year. The $325 a month campsite rent includes water and electricity plus laundry facilities, showers and access to a pool.
Page keeps a small food bank in the offce and has school supplies to give children. Donated clothes are kept in the laundry room.
Social workers and volunteers from local charities frequent the site.
The Renaults, a family of six, live next to Ballard. His tent used to be their home but they passed it along when good Samaritans who read of their financial troubles in a local paper donated a small camper.-Urinal
I don’t if you need a password to see this picture but look at the camper that was donated-

Thank you, AJC, I know this was an anti capitalism hit piece whining for more government intervention, but you inadvertently showed the Hand of God, working His promise that He will always provide. Bless all of the rednecks and trash that take loving care of each other when times are tough, more than all the governmental bodies in the world would even care to do, whatever you do to the least of these you do unto me

“Bin Laden demands Europe withdraw Afghanistan troops”
DUBAI (Reuters) – Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden demanded that European nations withdraw their troops from Afghanistan in a new audio tape aired on Friday, saying they were sacrificing men and money in an unjust U.S.-led war.

I might as well double tap the blog sites of the AJC liberals this morning. I went to college also and found that the boys from Jersey were pompous brag hearts that could be defined as boars. Is it any wonder that New Jersey is another Democrat controlled state that spits out gangsters, corrupt politicians, muslim extremists, and liberal college students? The “Boss” is just another liberal clown who impersonates the tough street savy singer that is not appreciative of his American fortunes. He is the first Democrat musical punk that goes out on tour during the presidential campaigns to insult Republicans, their president, and American policies. I am sure that Bookman holds the Dixie Chicks in high regard, as well.

TaxPayer- I am assuming that you are a consumer of wild eyed liberal media paranoia about capitalist greed, as witnessed here at the bookman blog on a daily basis.
Can I at least work with this assumption or is there something about you that I am not aware of?
There are two kinds of people in America, those who worry about what other people have and those who worry about what other people don’t have.
The first group, known as democrats, wants it all for themselves, see Gore, al-, Freidman, Tom, et al, etc, etc, etc.
Would you care to dispute the facts that I have proof of in multitude archived bookman columns and legion pinko media blatherings?
And then there are Conservatives, the second group, which deem responsibility to mean not only to their own but to others, and need no government entity to move them to giving freely of themselves.
I would not expect you to know these things, living in your divisive world of political paranoia and grievances, seeing white sheets and pointy hats in every unfamiliar corner.
Me, I don’t have such illnesses to deal with.
I still can’t believe the Lord used the Urinal to move me to do His Will, what a truly awesome Savior I have.
