Since his predecessor got away scot-free, he nor any future president has anything to worry about. Many of the objections you cite are only temporary emergency measures. Others are just plain bogus.

First sentence, "As a student myself..."

Wow, what a typo. I guess I was thinking of all the small-minded responses I've read.

As a stupid myself, I thought the speech was time worth "wasting" if that's what people want to refer to it as. My social studies teacher showed the entire speech in class anyway, so I ended up seeing it. I thought it was well written and didn't push any kind of political agenda. I also don't see why students weren't allowed to see it, pre-screened or not. With YouTube and all kinds of media sharing available, students could gain access to it either way if they really cared to.

Ummmm Eli Jones, how can you impeach someone who has broken no laws or the constitution of the US? Perhaps if you went back to school and took up civics lessons, you wouldn't make such an idiot of yourself on the blogs. Just sayin............

IF you are unhappy with Obama’s anti-American policies, his Marxist Czars, his sky high taxation, wealth redistribution, Sharia law advocating radical Muslims in his administration, Obamacare for illegal’s, nationalization of our auto industries, his refusal to produce his original birth certicate, his sickening apologies to every Muslim he can find, his bowing to the Saudi king of Islamic terror, his government sponsored ACORN corruption, his open opposition to the Honduran’s ouster of the Marxist Zelata, total government control of our banks and sick of hearing his many, many, deceptive speeches, you may want to check out this Impeach Obama Petition site. If you think Obama is the greatest thing since sliced bread, don’t bother.

K-chak--good a.m. to ya!

I see your point, but again, it's not that I am urging restraint on "them" per se nor do I disagree with what you say about those on the outs now, what I am trying to say is that by using "their" tactics "we" are setting ourselves up for the same fall. "We," like "they," are risking alienating the fickle middle ground which is the determining factor in which way the political pendulum swings.

As for Jug Ears Fierce Advocate, my issues with him are far removed from those of the individuals out protesting these days. Just because I am not in "their" bleeding crowd, doesn't mean I'm in his either. I was certainly glad to see Daddy's Boy hit the high road back to Crawford but insofar as me and my issues are concerned, I don't see much of a difference between Twiddledee and Twiddledum, and, being honest, nor did I expect to. As far as the religious end of it is concerned, well Fierce Advocates' stance on Prop 8 was based in his own words in his "faith" and preacher Warren certainly would be as much at home with the tea baggers as he was at the innaugural.

I use "Fierce Advocate" as a reminder to all about that he does lie as do all politicians and if he will pu**yfoot around on one promise, he will others as those who (like me) want free, universal health care are finding out. If you want to call it compromise, that's well and that's good as long as you're not the one being sold down the river as the compromise. I suppose I probably should drop the Jug Ears monniker, though, since as Granny would say as I posted to Normal, "Now just because he won't let you on the bus is no reason to call him names for the way G-d made him." :-)

I have no doubt that if the merciful Jesus Christ did return in this time, he would be treated by the Right with about as much civility as they treat President Obama. That's my opinion.
