The problem with respecting George W. Bush after 9/11 is that it is too easy to get up on a pile of collapsed building and pat the country on the back for what happened, but a whole lot less easy to actually do something about it.

George Bush will be remembered less for his post 9/11 visit to New York City a half a year after he was first innaugurated than the fact that on the day he left office, the leader of the group that planned it, the man who inspired the act of striking the United States and the city that is center to its financial industry was still free on the day he left office.

You’re pitiful. Wright is a true patriot compared to you. If the entire stimulus package had been spent in one day it wouldn’t have meant that much to the economy (7%?). Just a drop in the bucket, as intended. And most of it hasn’t been spent, and you know it. Grow up!

I’m in @@’s camp on this one. The preacher violated his own so-called “faith” by taking the L-rd’s name in vain from the pulpit even. There is no, I repeat, no justification for that and it puts him in the same camp of apostates who have spent the last 2000 years perverting the teachings of the Christ and giving the religion its bad name…and don’t try and say Ole Jug Ears didn’t know his “message.” I heard it well before the campaign and election way down here in Atlanta.
