This sounds like Mark Sanford’s rambling speech. I always thought she was pretty self-serving; this proves it.

Wow,

What a wasted use of bits…and bytes…and… So, maybe she’ll decide to run in 2012 on the secessionist platform.

That’s not the entire video, jay. You’ve “selected” to????? I watched the entire announcement.

What did I hear? I heard a woman who’s fed-up. I heard a woman who’s about to break free of the shackles of politics and take a road that’s been “graded” just for her.

In a portion that preceded she talked about supporting candidates who are ready to do what’s right regardless of whether they’re dems or reps.

We shall see.

Like I said……..Sarah Unleashed is far more dangerous than Sarah, the POLITICAL candidate.

There is more to this story than Palin is admitting.

No one is going to vote for a “quitter ” who ducks & runs when things get tough. If she is President will she resign after 33 months to avoid the “lame duck” label? Do you guys who support her positions on the issues sincerely want an admitted quitter in the White House?

This is the 233 year of the Independence of the United States. The Sarah Palin attitude is not what John Adams, Ben Franklin & Thomas Jefferson signed up for!

There is a word for this: “quitter”.

She’s resigning because being a lame-duck governor is “not fun.”

So, unless public service is “fun” she won’t bother. How about staying in the job you were elected to do?

Sarah Unleashed is far more dangerous than Sarah, the POLITICAL candidate.

Dangerous how? As in, she’ll go back to Idaho and train a bunch of Xtian crusaders to wage jihad? I suppose that’s possible.

More likely, though, she’s figuring–sorry, figurin’–to start up her own Excrement in Broadcasting network and leverage her fan base into a lucrative TeeVee career. After all, Huckabee’s already got a head start there, so why not BibleSpice?

“Sarah Unleashed is far more dangerous than Sarah, the POLITICAL candidate.”

Don’t they have leash laws in Alaska? She doesn’t need a leash, she needs a muzzle. The more she talks the more ‘deep doo-doo; she steps in.

I’m all for more Sarah Palin as the face of the national GOP. The only thing better is more Gingrich as the face of the national GOP.

Jay, from downstairs, just now saw it–

If Fred Barnes ever set foot inside a Waffle House he would faint of embarrassment and fear. If he ever so much as stuck a nightcrawler on a fishhook — well, he couldn’t. He is the epitome of a Washington hack, and believe me, the competition for that title is stiff.

That was beautiful, man. Tastefully done.

Well, happy 4th of July everybody. Today we sellabrate the people that up and rebelled against the British to give good rednecks like me and you the right to keep taxes low and do what we want to do, if it’s done in a Conservative way.

I see the libruls done started rumors that our Sarah is about to be charged with violating tax laws because she let the same co. that built the big sports complex in Wasilla and put the town in debt to furnish the lumber and other stuff for the house she built near a lake. Free. I’m just praying it’s a big lie. I would hate to see her led off in handcuffs by federal police. It would kind of sour me on Law and Order. If you can’t make a little money by giving a co. a contract, I don’t see what good it does to hold elected office. It don’t pay enough otherwise.

Anyhow, we’re all ready here at the trailer for a big BBQ. We got a big barrel with the top cut off and holes in the bottom to let the air in. My boy and my girl and the missus and little Sonny Zell George will be cooking ribs and steak and potatos and all that stuff. But we won’t be having no lemonade on account of this Ferguson guy. There’s plenty of beer, though, and Jim Earl and Joe Bill will be dropping by. Maybe the Rev. Jim Bob Buice after it gets dark if the police ain’t around.

Have a Happy Independence Day everybody.

Here’s the Sarah Palin resignation statement

And the dishonesty of Jay B’s corner of the AJC marches on. If you’re going to write a headline like that then you really should run the whole statement. What exactly did they teach in the journalism department of that state u you attended? At the very least you should have provided a full transcript to go along with your video snippet.

Sarah’s biggest mistake in the statement she made was the “lame duck ” bit (Especially with the frolicking ducks over her shoulder, but I digress) because she gave her detractors and the media an excuse to ignore the real reason which she also laid out. The reason she had no choice was because the libs would never stop filing frivolous ethics complaints and she would be bankrupted defending those charges. You already have the woman a half million in debt and haven’t made a single charge stick plus she had no time to do anything else.

Happy Birthday America! May you have 233 more!

Ms. Palin, the neo-conned’s gift that just keep on giving.

(Even Skeletor aka Charles Krauthammer knows she’s nothing more than pretentious piffle.)

“A full court press”? My gawd, she can barely keep a dribble going.

“I know when to pass the ball for victory”. (I’m a horrible shot from everywhere on the court.)

“No more politics as usual”. (Until I can get free of this acting responsible gig, then I’m gonna go ballistic! And you think I’ve said some really stupid things before! Watch out Uppity One, here I come!)

“This decision comes after much prayer and consideration” (NEVER, EVER waste any political opportunity to throw in a reference to the Big Guy with the white, flowing beard!)

“…my trip to Kosovo and Landstuhl…” (And since I’m wrapping myself up in the red, white and blue LITERALLY, I simply HAD to make a gratuitous reference to our wounded troops. And if I get my way, there will be a whole bunch more.)

“They’re (the gratuitously referenced troops) bold and they don’t give up.” (Like I just did. Oops!)

Who’s trig?

“.. after seeing this REAL climate change that began in August…” (I’m a flat-earther and I compare/replaced good stewardship and even decent respect for the environment with my puny political aspirations.)

“…know when it’s time to audible and pass the ball…” (Zooks. Mixed sports metaphors? I thought the comedienne was blustering about b’ball not football…)

And quoting McCarthur to end it? All she needs is a corncob pipe.

So on the American Bandstand scale, I’d give it a solid 39. The timing’s bad, the lyrics disjointed and cryptic and you simply cannot dance to it…

Perhaps now she’ll go home and focus on the semi non-functional family of hers…

Gelding,

Let’s deconstruct that declaration of yours, shall we? You begin by saying you have no idea. Then you move on to your worldview where it doesn’t add up because it doesn’t to you, but I’ve already provided a perfectly plausible reason. From there you move to a definitive statement that she has deceived people and the details WILL BE shocking. That’s an amazing leap from sentence one to sentence three.

Since when is rationality a requirement to opine? Suspicious minds want to know!

Seriously, I hope she was sincere and can return to her life with her family. She accepted a tremendous challenge with Trig and it’s going to take all of them supporting each other to endure.

Tn, I realize 233 more is a stretch. But it’s good to have a dream.

That’s me josef: half-witted, I mean witty! And humorless, er humorous.

Sister Sarah’s OK.

She has stood up to the BIG oil interests in her state from time to time. (If that mean’s following the Dem’s and the public’s lead and raising taxes on them, the Point Thomson take-back and engineering a proposal to award a huge natural gas pipeline project to an independent firm, and not to the state’s major industry players .)

But clearly, she’s got too much of the GOP’s getting-perfected martyr syndrome though.

As seen on this blog a lot recently…
