The man was an ambulance chasin’ personal injury attorney before he even got into politics so I don’t see how people believed he was even capable of HAVING a moral compass (well, maybe he had one like Jack Sparrow’s that he could point in any direction he wanted!)

Every day of freedom the Iraqis enjoy is a day that MoveOn.org and the rest of the gang wanted to deny the Iraqi people. They helped President Obama win an election of course, but they are losing the battle with history every single day, and days like today must drive that home and drive them into a deserved gloom over their own failed plans to see America humbled.

And I would also like to know, did you go to fight in Iraq? And if not, why not. In response to Paul. I am a progressive and I deplore what John Edwards has done. But I see it as a male fault not a conservative, progressive or liberal fault. Sometimes I wonder if any man is ever faithful to his wife. The problem I have with conservatives is that they always preach “family values”, and they are no better than anyone else and are always so eager to judge. I have a problem with people who talk the talk but don’t walk the walk.

But for the contrived silence of the liberal media, which knowingly held word of John Edward’s love child from the voting public, Hillary Clinton would have beaten Borat Obumbler in the primaries. I met John Edwards and I thought he was one of the most handsome men that I had ever met and I wondered if women threw themselves at him. I like Elizabeth so much and feel really bad about all this. I still think that John Edwards would have made a great president!

Is John Edwards, the anti-poverty advocate, now a deadbeat dad? Is he letting a single mother and child that he fathered slip into poverty? (Hopefully not, but it does look this way.) This story DOES matter, as a reminder to us all to watch our politicians very closely and to judge them on what they say AND what they do. Those who believe there is some distinction between the private and public self are unfortunately naive.
