Imagine the slaughter of dissidents in this country, if say for instance, the Soviet Union had intervened during the civil rights struggle back in the sixties on behalf of the protesters. Now we
have the great GOP statesmen like McCain, McConnell, and Graham
urging Obama to do just that, in essence, to touch off genocide in
Iran. The CIA is even praising Obama for his measured approach,
but if it takes genocide in Iran for the Republicans to besmirch
Obama, so be it.

We don't support governmental violence
Theres no difference in the two parties
I don't want to make this an arument about the US

What shameful leadership qualities being overlooked by the progressive media. What difference an agenda can make..

Neda Agha Soltan, a 27-year-old philosophy student, was shoot dead on Saturday while voicing her opinion..., not that Obama can distinguish her from the ruling Mullahs or anything like that.

The blind are being led, but not by the blind. There is a plan. And it only requires a little bit of thinking. First the 'brave forces of democracy' are 'martyred.' Then when the 'dark masters' inevitably put down the rebellion, we have the perfect foil. From there it is only a small step to war. Remember, there was only one country that was openly pushing us to attack the 'dark master' of Iraq. Now that same country has for some time been trying to game us into war with Iran. Yes, the blind are clearly being led.

"The last thing that I want to do is to have the United States be a foil for those forces inside Iran who would love nothing better than to make this an argument about the United States," -Obama's progressively impotent teleprompter

Meanwhile.., United States media increases their viewership by encouraging the violence with wall to wall coverage of graphic scenes that can not verify.

Shucks. And we were kinda led to belive Iran was another great Democracy - just as we have done for Iraq - and soon-to-be..Afghanistan.
And maybe later...Pakistan. And then... Sort of reminds one of RayGun and the heroic days of "Thee Battle of Grenada." Well-planned and executed. Lots of Marines on one island end. My old Airborne outfit on the other end. 70 or so Cubano construction workers, a handful of guns among them, no resistance. Then Bush. Then BushDrunk. Great contributors to national/world history and intelligencia. Praise Geesussah!

China puts down Tibetan demonstrations, imprisons and brutally tortures Tibetan monks and nuns on a very regular basis. US main stream media remains totally silent.

40,000 peaceful demonstrators exercising their rights under the First Amendment to the Constitution are assaulted by not only the St. Paul police but also the Minnesota State Patrol, and National Guard as they protest the Republican National Convention last September. Homes of 'known dissidents' are subject to warrantless raids and owners arrested without charge prior to the convention. They even shoot a little girl, doing nothing more than holding a daisy, in the face with tear gas, and then laugh about it. US main stream media remains totally silent.

The 2000 and 2004 elections in the US are stolen by the exact same tactics used to steal the current Iranian elections: non-verifiable vote counts, precincts where more votes were counted than there were registered voters, Blue states going red without plausible explanation, insufficient voting apparatus in Blue precincts resulting in 5 hour lines, results reported long before any possible physical count is possible or even before the polls close, etc etc etc etc. US main stream media remains silent.

But the Iranian vote is stolen and the US main stream media goes all out for hour upon hour upon hour, encouraging and reporting on every detail of demonstrations by 'concerned citizens.'

So.., while Obama yukked it up with "his buddies"(journalists) over dinner, brave Iranians died in their own streets. Surely Obama's teleprompter could have done more, in light of his apology tours this summer. Especially since his not wanting to "meddle with seemingly undistinguishing political parties" brought on the exact same negative response from Tehran.
>>
"Definitely by hasty remarks you will not be placed in the circle of friendship with the Iranian nation. Therefore I advise you to correct your interfering stances," Ahmadinejad was quoted as saying.

I wonder how his teleprompter will repond to his promise of face to face meeting with Ahmadinejad now? Another apology to Iran perhaps?? Not that the progressively state run media would ever confront him with such a truthful question.
