Riots in Iran have to worry other Islamic dictators

Here’s a report on events in Iran from Al Jazeerah in English. If similar reports are being shown on Al Jazeerah’s Arabic broadcasts, the impact in the rest of the Islamic world could be interesting and long-lasting.

Yeah, do they have enough bullets and stones to kill all these people?

Dream on, bookman, it’ll never happen without our help.

And we are too skeered.

That’s a big “IF” Jay. Please let us know if al Jazeerah does these broadcasts in Arabic. Or Persian. Or just English.

Interesting headline. “Other Islamic Dictators.” This assumes, does it not, that the Islamic Republic of Iran is run by Islamic dictators?

Reagan set this ball in motion long before the modern neocons invaded Iran to capture and kill Osama, which by the way was what Bush #2 meant when his wisely said” Mission Accomplished”.

Aahhh, yes, the shiite stooges from Iran tried their luck with the United States in Sadr City and were promptly wiped out.

Look at the pictures from Tehran, Revolutionary Guard hacks running from unarmed women, unless of course they outnumber them by ten or so.

We could lay waste to their army, air force and navy in three days, would the world not be better off?

Apparently the Iranian people think so.

Kowards.

There comes a point when, and help me out here, I cannot remember now who said it, “history is let off the leash.” This appears to be one of those moments. We have all been saying that the Iranians must take matters into their own hands, why don’t they do something, when are they going to say enough is enough. It appears they have.

It appears from reports from Pakistan that there, too, the population has had enough and is taking matters into their own hands. In Lebanon and Indonesia the populations, afforded access to the ballot box, routed the religious fanatics and, so far, democracy seems to be working there.

The contrast is not lost on the Arab-Muslim street.

Hell, let’s at least find out what the Revolutionary Guard thinks of protesters armed with Squad Automatic Weapons and shoulder fired AT4 Rockets, air dropped right into the thick of things.

Our fearless leader, Ayatollah Bush, brought the great capitalist evil to our great country so that terrorists from all over the world would be drawn here to kill millions of oppressed Iraqis and open the door to democracy and Christianity so that his greater glorious plan of creating a massive disturbance in Iran, during an election, after he left his temporary position as president of the great capitalist evil states and went into hiding in the greater capitalist state that our Taliban brothers once visited, Texas. And, on your right, you will see that we have divided up parcels of beautiful Florida swamp land and have one acre lots available for the low low steal of a bargain basement one time price of 1 million rupees.

Roll over Ronnie. For, look what your great plan of fighting the evil communists by borrowing the money to fight with has done to your GOP. They have sold their souls to Communist China. How is that for the greatest irony, a fitting end to the Reagan ‘legacy’ — his obsession with the elimination of communists around the world ultimately led to the USofA being owned, lock, stock and barrel by the Communist Chinese.

Fellow warriors, we must show support for the brave street fighters in Iran. So, join us on the town squares nearest to where ever you live for an evening tea party tonight. We shall protest until our military displays some courage and strength that made US what we are today — broke and thrown out of our foreclosed homes without a Lipton tea bag to our names. We still have our fighting spirit though and we’re not scared to use it — to say no, as many times as it takes. Now, join with me fellow warriors and just say no. By the way, where are Newt and Dick and Rush and George. Where are our great leaders. We have armchairs in need of pilots.

The invasion and occupation of Iraq strengthened the powers that be in Iran.

Technology is getting the word around the world from Iran and allowing the more vocal minority to be heard and forcing the government’s restraint.

A move ABC defends as NOT being politically biased towards the Obama administration’s effort to control the healthcare debate.

Hamas can be effective.

But I gotta ask… I really do…. do ya’ think they got wind of something and when they questioned suspects, said they didn’t have to talk and they’d let them have a lawyer?

Okay, I admit, that started out smartass… but think about it….

All the times people derided the ‘immediate threat’ scenario (and I’ve been one) – along comes this.

CIA didn’t know. FBI didn’t know. Hamas did. The acted. And Pres Carter is alive.

And if Hamas had played by our rules, and it had come out they had yet let the scenario play out…

I was just taking Hamas at their word to illustrate the point.

I’d say if the FBI, Secret Service etc didn’t know about some plots, the were the plots that didn’t work.
