The Supreme Court that upheld that gender discrimination claim was composed of nine men -- just as the court that ordered an end to racial segregation in public schools was all-white.

The court that upheld affirmative action by public universities had only one black member. There were no women on the court that found constitutional protection for abortion rights.

Right or wrong, the justices in those cases clearly strove to put aside their narrow personal interests and uphold the fundamental principles of the Constitution as best they could. Most Americans, most lawyers and most judges, I would guess, believe that's exactly what judges should do. Why doesn't Sonia Sotomayor?-Steve Chapman

Cause she's a racist, geez.

The National Weather Service has issued a freeze watch for many parts of New York from Sunday through Monday morning, including Oneida County.

Widespread frost and freeze conditions are possible tonight and into early Monday morning.

The region’s low temperature for today is expected to be about 36 degrees, which also is the record low temperature for May 31, according to WKTV meteorologists and weather archives.

The record was set in 1966.

Mmph, phst, ah, um, huh, bwahahahahahahahahahaha, yeah, "global warming," ok.

The Urinal betrays bookman-

The AJC’s study found that no part of Atlanta is immune. But dozens of neighborhoods, stretching from Clayton to Gwinnett to Hall counties, have emerged as particularly troubled hotspots.

I cannot find the map online but if you look at it, it goes completely against what bookman has said time and time again, Cobb and North Fulton are low foreclosure counties.

South Fulton and Dekalb are ate up with foreclosures.

Community Reinvestment Act meet economic meltdown, economic meltdown, CRA.

Oh and here's Bwarney Fwank, eewww.

I rule Andy May 31st, 2009 8:39 am

Aahhh, yes, let's all look fondly back on the days when I was the only one getting scolded by thee bookman for personally attacking other bloggers and posting 2 paragraph comments, never mind 200 paragraph comments, oh wait, I STILL am the only getting scolded.

Never mind.

eewwww

Apologies to all you paddle boat pinkos this morning on Allatoona, I just knew you were a gang of environmental terrorists and I saw the golden opportunity to swamp your as-ses with the 175 Fast Strike, scared the hell out of you with that awesome display of power, didn't I?

Hope you had some bath towels in the Prius.

I rule Andy...like I've said, I'm only a lukewarm zionist at best, but when it comes to the Jewish state welfare program, we get a better return on our dollar there than elsewhere. We get more from their Mossad than we do our own CIA and let's not forget that one of the reasons there weren't any nukes in Iraq was their having taken care of business...as far as the West Bank settlements are concerned, a Palestinian friend of mine said, "build on, Brother. I've got my eye on a nice condo outside of Nablus. In the long run it'll be back to the pre-67 frontiers and Palestine will have the best housing and infrastructure in the Middle East." For most Israelis this is a small price to pay (in Shekels or US dollars) for peace.
