Never once have I seen a conservative declare that our servicemen/women are uneducated and that’s the ONLY reason they join the military.

I could even go so far as to say….never once have I seen a conservative declare that blacks join in record numbers because that’s all they can do.

Oh, the gloom and doom.

Meanwhile, U.S. credit rating agency Moody’s Investors Service on Thursday said it is comfortable with the AAA rating on the United States, but it is not guaranteed forever.

“There are longer-term pressures on the rating, that’s very clear,” said Steven Hess, lead analyst for Moody’s.

Standard & Poor’s, asked on Thursday about market moves on concerns about the U.S. sovereign credit rating, cited its January affirmation of the AAA rating.

S&P analysts Nikola Swann and John Chambers wrote at that time that their affirmation came “despite our judgment that fiscal risk has noticeably increased,” but saw that deterioration as temporary.

That’s funny. I was in NYC after 9/11 when Bush was giving a speech about killing terrorists and bringing back tourists. It was totally baffling because he pronounces tourist and terrorist both as “terrists.” It sounded like he wanted to kill tourists and help terrorists enjoy the sights of NYC.

“Can a gay Episcopalian female kiss a gay jewish boy, or will that kind of complex sexuality make the wingnuts’ heads collectively explode? Let’s find out. Pucker up, cowboy.”
