I have a concern and cant seem to get any help or answers from the right source , since when and where are they doing this at .Upon signing a closing on a condo i got all the services turned on only to find out when it came to the water , that the condo i wanted to purchase was behind on the water bills so i did some futher research to find out that the HOA owes 574,000 in back water bills so this is said. And that the condo's water may be shut off everybodys,I find it very unfair to shut off an owners water especially if their, hHOA, fees are 200.00 a month and paid and the water bill also is paid ......not only will you then have no water but sooner or later , maybe sooner the health department will move in as that will become a hazard and comdem your home all at the hands of the HOA.where is the justice for this american dream!

Can we just get marriage out of government totally. It's used as nothing more than a way to manipulate society.

It is likely that gay marriages will soon be allowed in all 50 states. Your particular religion or church will not be forced to perform any ceremony it doesn't want to do. Will the definition of marriage change? Yes, and no. Marriage has always been a contract respected by society and, except in times of civil unrest, that society's government. This part will not change. Obviously, the part that will change is the insistence that the person you marry be of the opposite gender. And yes, miscegenation laws in the past were used to ensure that your partner be of the same race. Some religions still insist you marry someone of the same faith. Some parents insist their children marry someone of the same social class. The problem is, a gay person cannot just go to "someone" else or elope to somewhere else to get married. No, not even in the supposed states that have approved the measure. Why? There is no federal recognition, no conferral of the various federal rights (you know the ones, immigration, inheritance, joint filing of income, visitation, etc.) that many heterosexuals don't think about. But they shouldn't have to. They have those rights, but gay people don't, unless as someone said anecdotally, that "a gay man could just marry a woman." Really? And if that woman was your daughter, and the next 30 years of her life ended in a broken home, divorce, and misery? But again, it's not your daughter right now, so why do you care? The truth is, unlike in the past, our idea of marriage is based purely on love, devotion and commitment. Children? Come on. There are plenty of heterosexual couples that cannot conceive, or choose not to. And there are many more who do conceive who probably never should have. So no, it's not about reproducing. As far as raising a kid, a single parent or a devoted couple (heterosexual or homosexual) can equally be capable (or incapable) of raising a child. This idea of marrying for romantic purposes has been with us for a relatively short period of time, perhaps 150 years. Before that, our society, as many others still do, arrange marriages based on family alliances and keeping wealth. Love was not essential beforehand. One "learned to love", instead of "fell in love." We have a completely different understanding of love and relationships in the modern world (could it be that the divorce rate exploded during the same years when women were actually granted permission by law to ask for divorce for reasons other than infidelity?), and with our new understanding comes new responsibility. Gay marriage is one of those responsibilities in order to maintain a moral society. Outlawing gay marriage, while recognizing the existence of gay relationships, creates stratification of society, resulting in increased corruption, promiscuity, violence, hatred, and instability. These values will be passed on to the next generation, resulting in widespread immorality. Rather, in order to protect our children, and our family, this generation has a civic responsibility for full federal recognition of homosexual marriage.

And if you are grossed out by the idea, imagine in 50 years if it isn't passed into law.

The first amendment clearly separates church and state. ...congress shall not establish religion nor preve4nt the free excerciese thereof...
Marriage is a civil contract. It requires a license from the state, it does not require a religious ceremony. States have practiced discrimination in marriage until the late 1960's concerning race and religion. The full faith and credit clause of the constitution forbids states from not recognizing the legal rights etc. from another state. The Supreme Court had better uphold it, or you could have states not recognizing contracs from other states, drivers licenses etc. The 14th. Amendment guarantees equal protection, this has evolved steadily throughout the last century and will continue to do so as the US moves forward in its expaning definition of democracy. No one is making anyone having a gay marriage nor denying heterosexuals the right to marry. Why does anyone care about other people's sex lives? Most of us have enough trouble with our own. This has always puzzled me. The attempts to equate pedophilia and homosexualtiy is absurd and uninformed. Just look up the psychology of both.
