To All:

This is amazing. Two little kangaroos that look just like "fetuses" because they are "born" so very early and are so UNDERDEVELOPED. But guess what? They're fully alive (just very small) and a full functioning member of the animal kingdom.

Remind you of anything?

ARTICLE:

HEADLINE: LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — A zookeeper's efforts to earn a kangaroo's trust has paid off with a video showing twin joeys, tiny and pink, growing inside their mom's pouch.

"The male Matschie's (MATCH-ees) tree kangaroo twins are about 6 inches from snout to tail and they are starting to grow hair. Matschie's are an endangered species and the births at the Lincoln Children's Zoo in Nebraska are the first twins on record."

...In the end, Jill never once attempts to answer any of my simple questions, which is typical. I've noticed this tactic used often by those pro-lifers who work in the movement. Whenever the discussion gets off ethereal principles and onto the problem solving, they revert back to airy lectures. They continue to want to talk about the morality of abortion and are desperate to change the subject when it's about solving what they consider a moral crisis. They are trapped in an endless argument over semantics (Jill is currently arguing that pro-lifers should demand we reduce the "number" of abortions rather than "the need for" abortion. Good luck with that debate.) They're the ones who have a problem with abortion. Why is the pro-choice camp the only side trying to come up with solutions, often successfully, to their problem? President Bush didn't promise to attempt to reduce abortion rates during his presidency and, early indicators suggest, he lived up to that disinterest. The decline in abortion rates slowed during his administration, teen birth rates spiked, and the economic nightmare he left us in seems to already be causing an uptick in abortions. All that is traceable to Bush policies and mismanagement...

Well, what do you expect from a party of cowards. GOP chickens that would rather hide behind their guns or run away rather than talk through issues and, heaven forbid, act like humans through a demonstrated use of their faculties instead of just the facilities. Their continued refusal to try and work toward real-world solution will only continue to result in needless loss of life and I guess they're willing to accept that rather than work with those that they "disagree" with. That is truly sad. Then again, I'm sure that even these simple words are too much for them to deal with so what should, or could, one expect.

Anyway, it's about time to get outdoors and take advantage of this great weather.

Any doubts about whether liberals are hateful and dull evaporated with he coverage on MSNBC and CNN of the tea parties. What angry, insipid jerks! No one can seriously suggest that either network practices journalism anymore.
There is a reason that on one watches little Anderson Cooper.
It's a little scary when you see the level of unhinged, racist hatred from MSNBC and then see a DHS report that targets a broad swath of Americans purely on the basis of their political opinions. Do the liberals really want to abolish the first amendment? Are they so disconnected from reality that they believe that everyone who does not think just like them is stupid or damaged. Are we on the slope to freedom of expression as long as we agree with the democrats in power?
Liberals have always had a hard time with freedom when it does not support their narrow ideas. just look at the speech codes on the campus or at the raucous suppression of the congressman's talk at UNC. Liberals are all for free inquiry of ideas and academic freedom as long as they agree with the ideas.
This week, we have seen the ugly face of what liberals are really like.

Great "vent" this morning:

"Obama tested and did great. Is the recession over? Has North Korea conceded not to go nuclear? Has al-Qaida disbanded? Are our borders controlled? Is our tax system fair? Are our health care problems solved? Oh, you must mean the simple decision to let the military handle a military issue."

TnGelding:

Two points:

1) I have posted OFTEN about Bush/Rumsfield's "severe" tactical blunder during the first part of the war (not enough troops, etc.). Surely, you recall my posts? I know, "don't call me Surely".

2) You lost me on the verse from Matthew. Context?

Did Andy/IRYW actually grumble something about sewn on stars of David?
Agent 86 is quoting UNKNOWN again? Unknown author, unknown credibilty.
He hehe hehehhe hehe

I missed the garden talk....My garden has just recently included edibles. Great 'maters every year, some squash and beans and peppers.
I've got more of a "The Secret Garden" thing going on. My wysteria covered deck was incredible this year.

I've got more mixed shade than sun available for edibles I could use some suggestions.

Also, anybody ever eat the shrimp at Stringers or Williams? I'm looking
for a recipe.

Any way, I'm not about to waste any of this beautiful day.....

Maybe the Klown isn't "worthy-"

By the end of the recount, the state was awash with evidence of duplicate ballot counting, newly discovered ballots, missing ballots, illegal voting, and wildly diverse standards as to which votes were counted. Any one of these issues was enough to throw the outcome into doubt. Combined, they created a taint more worthy of New Jersey than Minnesota.

Yet instead of shutting this Franken request down, or early on issuing a clear set of rules as to which absentees were valid, the state Supreme Court and the canvassing board oversaw a haphazard process by which some counties submitted new batches to be included in the tally, while other counties did not. The resulting additional 933 ballots were largely responsible for Mr. Franken's narrow lead.

Special election, anyone?

If hopeandchange.duh is the rule of the land, then what do you libs have to fear?

Do you want to seat your Senator or wait six more months, huh?
