California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger told reporters yesterday Tuesday that he didn’t face the pressure some Republican state legislators faced in pushing through a necessary tax increase because unlike the legislators, he wasn’t going to be running for anything.
Did that mean he would not challenge Barbara Boxer for her U.S. Senate seat?
“When I say I’m not running for anything, that’s exactly what I mean . . . until you change the Constitution.”
Should we change the Constitution? Not specifically for Arnold, but for others as well. Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm, for example, was born in Canada and is ineligible. We take a lot of very smart, talented people out of the candidate pool with that native-born requirement, and for no rational reason that I can think of.
And as a bonus, once the Constitution is amended, Barack Obama could finally come clean about his REAL place of birth. Right guys?

At first glance, I thought this was something autobiographical about Jay. I misread it as Unleash the Goober. My bad.
Here is a case where I do agree with newsboy. Change the requirement to United States Citizen.

I do wish liberals here would go about writing children’s books.
You libs could give Dr. Seuss a run for the money. Your imagination is great and your mentality is right on kindegarten level.
Do keep up the levity. It is entertaining. Kinda like the zoo. But, at least, you don’t use teleprompters while posting this trash. Maybe you should. You too can be PRESIDENT!
Good night all. Sweet dreams, lil’ kiddies!

If Republicans are the party of no ideas, the Democrats are the party of bad ideas.
The good news is that the Obama administration is going to make all of us millionares. The bad news is that a loaf of bread is going to cost $800.
Meanwhile, Hillary (not realizing that her appointment was just to get her out of the country) is on the world-wide apology tour. Of course she is right about the US funding the drug business in Mexico.
There is a solution that helps on both fronts. Legalize marijuana and tax it. The O-man just raised the tax on cigarettes by 2 cents a cigarette, what if the government picked up a buck or two on every joint and blunt consumed in the country?

Bad boy Jay. Teasing those poor folks about birth certificates. Lots of fun though. The requirement for Natural born citizen should NEVER be lifted for any reason or anybody period.

Is that all the libs can say about our budget ideas is “no?”
No, no, no, it’s all they, uh, know.

Budget ideas from Republicans. All I see are white pages. Is it supposed to be a new phone book or what.

The absolute shallowness of the leftist liberal minds is indeed to small to measure.
I give you as evidence the childish postings last evening of G, Midori, and Mrs Godzilla. G and Midori are so, so predictable, and their lack of intellect shows with virtually every post, but Mrs G, I must say I am a bit disappointed in you joining the kindergarten circus and dimwitted repertoire of the other two.
You are generally above that.
I also hope some sanity returns to Washington when it comes to voting on this budget, but I doubt it. There certainly hasn’t been any so far.
And Taxpayer, I liked your comment about the ‘phone book’. Perhaps it is more a compilation of liberals that can be trusted, or liberals with integrity, or liberals with fresh new ideas that actually make sense, and not to be outdone, Republicans that actually consider themselves conservatives.

Oh now, Bud the unwise one,
Please don’t get started on intellect, which is a subject you know nothing about.
Why not discuss the Rushpublicant not-a-budget instead? No intellect in it whatsoever.

Lot’s of Obama supporters on this blog are either the type workers that sit and do nothing all day and their co-workers carry the load or they’re government workers. If you do the math and count the number of post they post and the frequent times they post, there’s no way they’re working at the job. No wonder they love Obama Socialism. They sit on they’re ever expanding backsides while someone takes up the slack. A pure example of a government loving liberal. Sweet.

Jennifer Granholm can’t run for President? What a shame, considering the ’success story’ Michigan has been for the last… oh, never mind.

Obama wasn’t born here and look at what he is doing to our country. Naturally a washed up actor, socialist, conservative wannabe, member of the communist Kennedy clan would be the perfect president. Just remember, Austria gave the world Hitler too.
Is is too hard to get behind someone who supports sound economic principles and the constitution?? Why does everyone have to be a celebrity?

Now, there’s a great idea. Let’s free up the Constitution so that the governors of two of the most dysfunctional states in the union, California and Michigan, so that they can puck up the nation at large.
Thank God the constitution saved us from having to deal with these obvious-to-all incompetent buffoons.
You lefties never seem to amaze me at the contortions you are willing to go through to screw up the USA. Great thinking Jay
