RW:

1) The 20 times thing is "hyperbole". We just need to get the salaries down.

2) I really do disagree on the "degree of talent" thing. It's all relative. We know the best high school football team of today could probably beat a pro team of 50 years ago.

To me a high school, college or pro game is just as exciting in their own way. As long as there are hundreds of thousands to play (even pro sports) the teams will be roughly equal and the play will be just as exciting.

Just one man's opinion.

Taxpayer:

Two points:

1) He was speaking generically to all Christians as a group ....... of course one person cannot preach to everyone (even a Billy Graham) so your point is not valid.

2) The main point for YOU now is that YOU have been preached to. What does that mean?

That means if you are correct in your theology - no big deal. It means if I am correct and you are wrong - you have heard the Gospel, you have made a decision to reject it, you will have to live with that for eternity , you have NO EXCUSE.

Again, that point is only valid "if" I am correct in my theology. Time will tell.

"the ‘dumbest President in history’ had a higher GPA "

A higher GPA many, many lines of coke and bottles of Jack's ago, perhaps.

Uh, Lady Chadderly, just for your info, the 'dumbest President in history' had a higher GPA than his 2000 opponent, Al Green Gore. How great a shape would we be in now had the green one been in office, using your interpretation and correlation of supposed intelligence versus performance?

Oh, that's right, you are the self-proclaimed doctor, and a lawyer as well! Duke? Harvard? Oxford? Vanderbilt? You surely have all of the answers, as you so lengthily post here every day, cutting and pasting like a kindergarten teacher. I bet you are probably at best qualified to empty the trash cans at night at any of these fine universities!

Bravo!

People who take the Bible literally scare the bejesus out of me. I run away very very far. Weird things are bound to happen in their wake. Creepy.

You folks that don't think Cheney can go tojail for war crimes need to watch the Rachel Maddow show from last night.

Obama is holding back. Cheney is talking in public about it because he is trying to make it look like a policy issue instead of a legal issue. But it is truly a legal issue.

He is walking a thin thin line.

Taxpayer:
Moderation in Christianity? Where do you get that?

“Go ye into ALL the world and PREACH the Gospel to EVERY creature”.

That includes you …….

People who say they don’t wear their Christianity on their sleave are “hiding their light under a bushel”.

Corporal,

My inference, in the post that you failed to quote correctly, was that someone sounded like they were 'drunk' with religion and that they needed to sober up. Now, regarding your quote, How many of the "creatures" on this planet have you preached to. One must not try to interpret the word -- just obey it. As for me, I preach to my dog every day. I say "good boy" when he is good and "bad boy" when he is bad. Never preach to plants though.

Say, does anyone know which entity the Impeachment Boy is going to "rescue" with his vast economic and marvelous skills by throwing a trillion bucks at it today?

I would like to buy some of their stock, so if you might know......

I still can't get used to the new Urinal litter box liner and I'm not talking about how they shrunk it down to the size of a napkin. For the last 8 years solid, I have been getting my bad economic news at the top of the page, usually in bold screaming type, and the good news was always buried deep within the story. Now, it's the other way around, gee, I wonder why that is-

Housing: Sales rise, helped by first-time buyers-Urinal/ Team Impeachment

Prices, however, are expected to keep falling well into the year. Tens of thousands of homes remain tied up in the foreclosure process and are not yet for sale. Plus, as the recession deepens and job losses mount, many buyers are likely to stay on the sidelines.

I kinda miss the old gloom and doom, with it's incessant whining and screaming, I guess I could hold the paper upside down when I read it now.
