BUSH was the one who broke ranks with American principles; you’re just mad because he was caught at it, and the resulting disaster backfired.

And the fact that you “have no use for people like me” is laughable… People like me are the ones restoring America’s ideals and standing in the world. YOU’RE the one whose value–like your patriotism–is highly questionable to a free America.

It is obvious you are completely brainwashed. Unless you are a Quaker whom I believe truly believe in peace at any price, you are one misled citizen. I guess you would not mind being a British subject, a Mexican citizen, a German citizen, a Japanese citizen, all of which wars have prevented from happening. Obviously you would not mind another terrorist move on this country.

The Iraq War has been a preventive measure against another terrorist onslaught. President George Bush who was strong enough with foresight enough to see that we were protected. He is belittled by people like you.

You are probably all for preventive health measures, preventive environmental measures, preventive economic measures, preventive pregnancy measures, every kind of preventive measure except protection for this country. That is because you would not risk your life for your country. You would say it isn’t worth it. That it is worth nothing to protect the USA because you might have to fight for it.

Well, I differ. I love this country and will do all I can to keep it safe, even disagree with people like you. You endanger our country every day with your lack of appreciation, your complaining, your spineless attitude, your directions away from the Constitution to establish socialism, your direction in establishing a financial system exactly like communism, i.e. take from the rich and give to the poor.

I have no use for people like you who run from the protection of our country. There is no honor in running away. There seems to be no honor in CHANGE. We have managed quite well since 1776 and I have no interest in changing the basics of what has worked so well to keep us free.

I think we should also consider Iraq’s threat to Israel. Remember what they did during the first Gulf War. Israel had done nothing to them and they started lobbing rockets in. If left unchecked, they would have done it again maybe with a weapon of “mass” destruction. And we know what Israel might have done ……….. “Baghdad Parking Lot” !!

Just as they will do to Iran if we don’t solve that one first.

The only ones who seem “beyond” rational thought are the dwindling few who still support this Iraq stupidity, now proven to be TOTALLY unnecessary. And you’re not “above” it… you’re beneath it.

Do some reading, try thinking, and come back when you’re ready to play with the big boys.

That will never change, no matter how long we stay or how many Iraqis we bribe (or threaten) into pretending they welcome the occupation. The war was always illegitimate, and the REAL patriots stood up and said so.

We will go down in history as the nation that found a better, smarter way than waging endless wars… that is, if we’re smart enough to keep the neocons and chickenhawks on the sidelines where they belong.
