Somehow, this will all be Obama’s fault as well.

I have it on good authority that President Obama was born in county Limerick. There are many of that name there, doncha know.

May the enemies of Ireland never eat bread nor drink whiskey,

but be afflicted with itching without the benefit of scratching.

To Jay – Good one! My great-grandparents were McCorts and McKinleys !!

To DBGwennitian:

No one has apparently seen the “infamous document” but President Telepromter/Urkel did claim some Irish heritage today – for real.

At one time his family name was spelled O’Bama, then in 1902 they began to come to the US and changed the spelling to Obama. Our president’s family came here in 1964, when he was 3 years old. So he was indeed born in Ireland.

O.K., so my “F” word didn’t make it past the censor, but that Irish rogue singer’s sho ’nuff did.

Somehow, I see that as less than fair.

To G:

Now that you mention it, President Teleprompter/Urkel may be “Black Irish” from McKenya ??? He really did say today he was from Irish descent and (in spite of all the poor suffering Americans out there) he is throwing a big Irish bash at the White House tonight.

Okay, I’m gonna show my ignorance – whose this guy and what is this song?

They both seem cool.

Anywho – videos and songs like this always make me wish I was Irish – just even a little, but alas, no Irish blood run in me veins.

Oh, hehehehehehe, I guess the name of the guy and the song are um, identified on the video box.

And I haven’t even been drinkin’ yet.

I don’t think anyone could’ve anticipated that a rowdy Irish pub-belter might drop an “F” bomb four minutes into an alcohol-soaked ditty.

LOL Big time!!! Yeah, who’d've thunk it? A rowdy drunk Irishman – who’d've guessed?

Come on Taxpayer @ 11:55. You of all people should know I have no problem with those who drop the F-bomb. ‘Tis the AJC censors and jay who reserve that right.

I found Cheney’s FY delivered to Senator Leahy most eloquent. Neither did I have a problem with Joe Biden’s recent “Give me a ‘effin’ break!”

As I recall, it was liberals who found Cheney’s f-bomb deplorable while ignoring Joe’s.

@@, you’re once again painfully unfamiliar with the point we’re making, which is that there’s a difference between an “f” bomb buried in the bowels of a tune Jay’s linked, and allowing posters to use it in the comments column.

But far be it from us to stand in the way of your persecution complex.

As a person of typical Appalachian descent, I’m about 1/3 English, about 1/3 German and about 1/3 Scots-Irish, with a little Welsh and Dutch and a smidgeon of French thrown in. Am I supposed to hate myself? ;-)

There are two kinds of people today. Those who are Irish, and those that wish they were.

Seriously now …. Jay and for any of you other “Scots-Irish” out there who have not read Democrat Senator James Webb’s book “Born Fighting”, it’s a great read about how the Scots-Irish helped settle this country and the impact they had and continue to have.

Alas, Corporal, the Scots-Irish are not Irish. The filthy English-Scottish King James I/VI sent over Scottish lowland lowlifes to Ulster to work on his plantations, they and their descendants are the notorious and vile Orangemen, no more Irish than Confederates, with their love of tyranny and Empire, are Americans.

My mother’s mother’s mother was a Fitzpatrick, from Fermanagh. My people have been fighting English tyranny and empire for a thousand years, unlike the Scots, who rolled over them.
