Then why don't you enlighten me? Do you think the president's life is any more valuable than yours or mine or a soldier's killed in Iraq or Afghanistan due to Bush's horrendous mistakes? Do you need to massage your ego because your JOB was to provide that protection?

Bush spent more time on AF1 or at his "ranch" or Camp David than he did in the Oval Office, and the country paid a tremendous price for it.

I'd like to see the AF1 fleet reassigned to bring the troops home in style from around the world, especially Iraq, S. Korea and Japan.

Regarding your 8:50am, it's truly sad that you have no clue.

No, you don't have it right. Nobody has said that. We're in a worldwide recession and it's going to take innovation and a lot luck to end it sooner rather than later.

I predict you're going to have a miserable next 7 years, 10 months and 9 days. Why not join us as we finally cross that bridge to the 21st century?

I haven't read every word posted here, but I didn't get that impression. We've been realistic and don't expect miracles overnight. It will take time. But lets hope the recovery has begun.

I don't know why this Looter embarasses himself with the liberal crying of homeless plight (don't want to work) and evil capitalism. Bookman becomes more and more irrelevent in his left wing journalism as the days of the Obamination of this country unfolds.

Libs are going wild about this slobbering that Obama's policys are working. To bad that by the end of the week the market will rebound and will continue to fall. Investors realize that Obama's policy's are a failure and the complete opposite of capitolism that will punish people who do well.

We expect too much and have placed way too much importance on our presidents, especially with security. They can be replaced just like the grunts on the battlefield they send to early graves. I'd sure like to see O! eliminate some of the perks like he expects Wall Street to do. It's a bad time to be asking them to do that as you start to spend over a trillion dollars in stimulus. O! could start by grounding AF1. Jimmy got rid of the yacht.
