Carolina must have forgotten that hockey games have 3 periods, not too. Buffalo can’t score much these days.

Same old Sabres resurfacng. No pressure on management to make changes; the rink is full win or lose.

This was a Character game if I ever saw one. This 1-0 win IS the type games GOOD teams win… This is a BIG step forward, Gee I said that ???

So within about 72 hours we won THREE hockey games and TWO against
tough teams who have had their way with us in the recent past.

A win Monday night will give us 31 points, Nice thing…

TB losing, Fla lost, NYR lost, Ottawa lost and Philly lost !!!

Great game and look forward to another win monday night.

Hey Bill… When will RAWHIDE night at Philips be this season, I might just come down.

If not, congrats to Ondrej for making 34 saves and getting us a big 4-point swing on the Flyers. We are still in playoff position. Tear off points #67 and #66 from your flip chart. It should now read, “65-points to go” for the Thrashers playoff berth.

I think I even heard the announcers last night say that the Thrashers are the only remaining team to have not lost a game in which they held the lead at any point within a game. That’s a pretty good stat as well.

The stats right now are really starting to look good in Atlanta’s favor. Leading the league in goals-for(3.54), fifth in power play(23.0%), third in penalty-killing(84.3%). They’ve never lost a game in which they score the first goal and Pavel Kubina(Maple Leafs fans must love this) is third in the league at +15. Opie gives us a heart attack at least once a game, but his 92.1 save percentage is just fine with me. Unfortunately he needs to maintain that number because we give up so many shots.

Anyone who says that this is not a playoff team is not looking at the numbers or at the way this team never gives up. While they come out soft every night it seems, they grind all the way to the end. If Little and Kozlov are truly starting to heat up, then we have three legit scoring lines. Think about that, Thrashers fans, when have we ever had three legit lines? The combos are still a work in progress but I feel certain that JA will find the right formula.
