If he was dormant after the season (i.e., not working out) then he wouldn’t know he still had pain. He began working out, felt pain, then got the surgery. It’s a typical offseason surgery…sure it might be questionable about exactly when they start it, but you truly think this shows a lack of integrity? Come on.

Midfield - The only speculation that I have as to why it did not happen earlier is that some doctors want to see of rest will take care of the issue. He went from April to July without playing. Obviously the time off was not enough, it did not heal on it’s own. So, they decided to do so at that time with still several weeks before the season to recover.

That’s my take on it at least.
