Warriors at Atlanta Hawks: Game thread
- Joe Johnson (knee) is in the starting lineup. Larry Drew said he will monitor how Joe feels to determine how much he will play. “I know with tendinitis the best thing for it is rest,” Drew said. “Hopefully these days off will benefit him.”
- Drew said he doesn’t ever plan to make Joe a healthy scratch for the sake of giving him days off: “At this stage of the season, I don’t think it will be a case of giving him days to rest. If we do anything, we will cut his minutes down. Since the season is still in full bloom, we just have to grind it out with the way the season is. What we are cutting back on is the practice. Those are the recovery days now.”
- Vladimir Radmanovic (ill) is out. “He’s had some problems with his stomach,” Drew said. “He missed shootaround, came to the arena to warm up and it started bothering him again. So we went ahead and just sent him home.”
- Zaza Pachulia (calf) is active.
- Erick Dampier’s second 10-day contract expired so the Hawks have to sign him for the rest of the season to keep him. They have yet to do so but said they expect to complete a deal tomorrow. Dampier is at the arena tonight.
- No word on if Al Horford (chest) was cleared to begin rehab.
- Jason Collins (elbow) said he’s scheduled to begin rehab Friday.
- Stephen Curry (foot) is out for the Warriors.

Whats funny (other than the Hawks uninspired play) is Bob Rathburn said “man he is a pest… he is really hurting the Hawks”… refering to Nate Robinson, but the whole time I was thinking … who you really mean is Kirk Hinrich, because every time he comes in he hurts the Hawks with horrific shooting, turnovers, no defense, no rebounding, and usually leaving -17… (as I type this Nate Robinson scores another 2 on Kirk).

If the Hawks aren’t going to use Tracy than they need to waive him and let him sign with a real contender who will not only play him but know how to use him because its obvious that LD doesn’t know how nor is he willing to try. Its obvious that LD has his favorites (Hinrich, Green, Marvin) who he plays regardless of how ineffective or bad they perform.

I actually like your Youtube channel a lot. I watch most of those videos you put up there. It just amazes me that you get the time to make those, especially in between knitting sweaters for Leuer.

On a side note, I completely agree with the T-Mac sentiment. LD is wasting him, and I have no idea why. I am not as big a fan as most here, thinking he is a great passing wiz and doesnt provide much else as I think he is off with his shot more than he is on…most nights anyways. However, 4 minutes a night is laughable if we are trying to win ballgames… terrible
