Timberwolves at Atlanta Hawks: Game thread
- I’m not at the game tonight. The AJC’s Chris Viviamore is on the scene.
- At shootaround today Marvin Williams (ankle) told C-Viv he plans to play tonight. Tracy McGrady (back) is out and is shooting for a Monday return.
- Larry Drew said the Hawks are in no hurry to make a roster move in the wake of Al Horford’s injury.

I vote for Jsmoove as an Allstar. he brings it. I dont mind the slow start or doing what it takes to get on track. The man has lifted his game, spent time in the offseason doing what matters and has come back focused and delivering. We are where we are at because of Josh, among others.

TMac is reminiscent of Shaq last year. For the vet min what you get is a bench rider until the play offs comes. That was the plan for ShaQ last year, he just got hurt when it was show time!

I have no problem w/ TMac taking his time. He is a difference-maker. These games will be irrelevant come playoff time. It’s a calculated gamble, but you certainly don’t want to burn him up in the 1st 3 weeks.

Teague not bad in open floor, 2 nice dishes; wish he could do that in a half court set…penetrate and dish, but once he lowers his head, its going up no matter what…wish he could get in their and draw defender then dish for easy buckets like Paul, Billups, BD.
They really dont penetrate to score, just pull the defense, then Oooop…

Like 49ers, but hate to see Jim Harbaugh getting all the credit. Mike Singletary whipped that team into shape. He called out all the “punks” and wouldn’t tolerate their BS – mgt. didn’t have his back, but look at the results…Vernon Davis, Crabtree ballin, Defense fierce…that’s all Singletary, so what if he gave colorful interviews – he drew a line and demanded that players respect the game and look at ‘em now.
