HA HA HA. Why do you people even follow the Hawks? This town is all about the Braves and Falcons! Thank goodness for baseball season! Move the Hawks out of Atlanta! Another loss! Love it. Just a bunch of thugs the NBA is anyway.

Next season, JJ will be wanting an even bigger max contract! $24 million? That’s chump change—JJ be wanting to get lebron type money–the hawks better pay up or JJ be walking!

Hawks tried to give up on this game, but the Sixers wouldn’t let them.

LD has completely lost this team. Can him and go get an experienced coach. Maybe Jerry Sloan will come here. Something, anything…this is horrible.
Do we actually miss Woody yet?

LD will say…”we were fatigued in the 4th”
“We didnt have any energy down the stretch”
“We settled in the 4th”
MC,
Can you ask why such a small rotation on the second of a back to back?

It may be a bad thing to say but I am really hoping the Hawks lose many more times this year. With each win comes slight optimism that everything is or will be OK. The reality is that there has to be a change.
A coaching change is #1 and I would hope that in some way, shape, form,0 or fashion someone (New Jersey) can take Joe Johnson off our books.

There was Nam’ urgency whatsoever, down the stretch.
Philly missed a lot of FT’s and we just laid down!

“LD excuses after the game will be?”
Probably something along the lines of “we just didn’t come out with that sense of urgency”, “we didn’t have enough juice”, “we were jacked up for the game”, “in the fourth quarter, we missed some shots, Philly made some shots”, “we never got into a rhythm on offense”, “we took too many jump shots”, “we got exposed off of the dribble”, etc., etc. Some combination of those things will most likely be what Drew says after the game.
It was not a bad pick

The only thing worst than Joe “MAX DEAL” Johnson’s contract is the regular posters on this blog…WE HAVE A PLAYER WITH A MAX CONTRACT and he has once again he has refused to show up….Time to bash Marvin right?…Joe is a joke, I dislike Drew more than i disliked Woody, Kirk Hinrich for Crawford is a joke, Al playing at C is a joke, Never using the 2nd pick of the draft is a joke,Najeh Davenpoop, drmaryb (*_-), Micheal Cunningham, Ken whatever, Sekou, O’Brien, and Sautee are all big JOKES…..FREE MARVIN!

Dennis Rodman was a 27th pick, Gilbert Arenas was a second round pick. If you can play then you can play and i am telling you I liked the way Jordan Crawford played with heart whenever he got into a game. Jordan will be a very good player in the NBA which will seal the deal on the Bibby/Hinrich trade being terrible for the Hawks.

So, how many people think that L.D. will be the head coach of the Hawks next season?
Najeh Davenpoop

At the start of the 4th quarter, the Hawks were leading 80-74.
The Hawks started the quarter with the following lineup: Kirk-Jamal-Marvin-Al-Zaza.
Within 2:15 of game time, the Sixers went on an 11-0 run and made it 85-80.
The Hawks and Sixers were even the rest of the way.
But yeah, Smoove’s D is overrated.

@ Bigdave – Its weird that our top 3 players never seem to have it going at the same time and its looking more and more like they really dont compliment each other. The teams that get to rolling there top 3 players usually get it going quite a few time a during the course of the year but ours seem to alternate
This team cannot play as the favorite but will play well as the underdog .. By the time the playoffs come around they will be considered to have no chance whatsoever and it will be come the old us vs the world and the jumpshots will fall for a couple of weeks

LD continues to go with offense over defense in crucial moments. As soon as Philly started making their run he should have benched Zaza and Jamal but he sat there and did nothing. Then when it was too late he finally pulled Zaza but left Jamal in. Damn is LD sleeping on the sidelines or something? Its like he doesn’t recognize when things are going bad or when there is a bad match up on the floor.

@Gerald, I think he will as long as the ASG owns the team, they are too cheap to fire a coach they owe money and won’t hire a good coach because quality cost. They should have kept Woody, he was good for the price they were paying, you must admit that.

Im sick of the announcers as well. They lack any reasonable critique of how the hawks are really playing. Maybe they are afraid to be critical for fear of losing their job. They suck as bad as this team.

drew is like 19 times worse than kuester — thank god this seasons almost over, he’s going to get someone hurt playing them 42+ minutes on back to backs. larry drew is a damn fool. i cannot express the contempt i feel towards him. Jamal, absolutely terrible, Teague, glued to the bench.

Well O’B,
I was gonna say 105 to 100 Hawks.
Then, I said 106 to 100 Hawks.
______________
Reality was 105 to 100 Philly.
Oh Well.
That’s My Hawks! No surprises here. I can’t explain it, but
Al Horford was Horrible! He cost us this game, he gave us NOTHING!
Not ‘Nam thing!
No Teague? I’m lost for any kind of explanation.
