UPDATE: The Hawks selected Texas forward Damion James with the No. 24 pick and traded him to the Nets for the second of their first-round picks (No. 27 overall) and their second-round pick (No. 31). The Nets selected Jordan Crawford for the Hawks at No. 31.

I’ll be holed up at Centennial Tower waiting for the Hawks’ decision-makers to pick their guys before emerging to explain themselves, but I will checking in on your comments.

Man all these players leaving early is killing the NBA.
Draft would be a lot better if some of these players were proven, 90% of the picks are based on potential.
NBA should do like NFL at make them wait at less 3 years after HS. I liked the day when player were good before they were drafted.

Well this was a rollercoaster of a draft for the Hawks. Tense in the beginning…everyone got excited by the trade…then these nicompoops sell the first pick in the second round and go for ? with the last pick.
