Sorry to get on late. Busy night.
Another packed house at Philips….
December 9th, 20098:44 pm
Oh oh. The commentators are saying Woody should have an extension beyond this year already. I’m sure that will bring some of his COY supporters out.
December 9th, 20098:46 pm
Nice to see the Hawks put the smackdown on a team on National TV…
fire mark richt!
December 9th, 20098:47 pm
like I said, just a scrimmage!
December 9th, 20098:48 pm
O’Brien, I think they call it stating the obvious.
The commentators don’t know what the f**k they’re talking about. Just talking out of their a**es. Sund didnt give him an extension for a reason…I don’t understand why ppl think that just because a team is winning, its cause their well-coached. Yeah right…we all know that Woody has overstayed his welcome in ATL only because of Bob Knight, not Sund

This is what you get when we abandon WOODY BALL and play the uptempo, fastbreaking style of ball this team has been built to play. If the team is allowed to continue playing like this, we could definitely go 9-1 or 10-0 over the next 10 gms.
December 9th, 20098:51 pm
Why didnt Mo throw an Alley to Josh… Oh I see, he’s still on the donut…
Joe was pushed on that Rose steal, and tried to push Rose in the back when he got the ball but Rose was too fast…
josh is arguing much more under control
December 9th, 20098:53 pm
Ken Strickland AHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
THIS IS WOODY BALLAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I could be wrong, but I think Sund wants to see how Woody does in the playoffs before he gives him an extension.
Especially since the Hawks have a deep team, there is no reason for them not to win 2-4 games in the second round of the playoffs…
thats the first time I’ve seen Mo hit to shots in a row
December 9th, 20098:55 pm
I think Josh learned from that ejection….
December 9th, 20099:01 pm
Damn what happened
Joe Smith taken off the court with injured finger on left hand.
December 9th, 20099:02 pm
gonna get some Randolph!
December 9th, 20099:03 pm
Hope Joe Smith didn’t break his finger.
December 9th, 20099:04 pm
Dislocated thumb for Joe Smith
December 9th, 20099:07 pm
Teague should start
O’Brien, I disagree. this team will make it to the second round and out. It has no center to compete with the big three. If they are lucky they can draw Boston and have a chance.
But it really doesnt matter. Woodson is coaching at a high level, is being considered for the coach of th

the year and would have no problem being picked up by another team.
December 9th, 20099:10 pm
Great win for the Hawks tonight. I just hope Joe Smith will not be out for any extended time…
I agree with the commentators that consistency is the only thing holding the Hawks back. They said the Hawks have a bunch of games against teams under .500 (I think 9 out of 14). Unfortunately for the Hawks, those are the teams who the Hawks struggle with.
December 9th, 20099:11 pm
Barry just hating big time right now. Talking about Hawks past always, not eabout their future or present right now. He is stuck in the past!
Mac-Town'z Finest 478
I agree with the crew on ESPN. We cant be elite until we become consistent.
It feels really good to blow out a team like this and make you feel like you are “somebody”……only to come back the next game and let some other team have lay up drills while we take jumpers the entire game.
I dont understand why we do that but I hope it stops!!
December 9th, 20099:13 pm
Marvin lookin like Kobe!!!!
Marvin has zero post game.
Wheeeeeee – a Rando Mo sighting
I’m not saying the Hawks need to advance past the second round. I’m just saying they cant afford to be swept like they were last year, especially given their depth.
And to say the Hawks cannot compete with the big 3, didnt the Hawks win 3 games against the Celtics in the first round 2 seasons ago? And the Hawks have improved more than the Celtics since then (in my opinion).
If the Hawks win 2 or 3 games in the second round, I definitely think that will get Woody his 3 year extension.
December 9th, 20099:14 pm
Funny thing, Boston Celtics Blog page runs a story about the players and how much they like Woody and how successful the hawks are. I asked the question why is Boston so concerned?
If I were Woodson, Id walk after the year regardless. I would consider this insulting. Most of the pro analyst are asking the same question.
What is he waiting on?
Truly Id walk just on principle.
Marvin with the arm gear….
Too early to say how deep into the playoffs the Hawks will get. We’ve got talent. We’re 8-2 against teams with a winning record this season.
The 2 losses the Hawks have suffered against teams with winning records were at LA and at home to the Magic. Both of those teams have a clear size advantage over the Hawks.
Cleveland has Shaq, but he’s not the same dominant post threat that he once was. We’ll see how we matchup with them, but I honestly think we’re a much quicker team with better gaurds than the Cavs.
It’s all about the matchups, and the Hawks give many teams matchup problems. The only team in the EAST that I think the Hawks struggle to matchup with is the Magic.
December 9th, 20099:15 pm
shut up Barry!
Its cheeseburger Collins!!
December 9th, 20099:16 pm
L O L
LMAO @ cheeseburger collins
how much does he make…?
December 9th, 20099:17 pm
Nire, Hawks are 5-19 from 3 lol.
December 9th, 20099:18 pm
Blast lay off the pipe… he’s right. We beat the Celtics, swept the Blazers but then lost to the Knicks at HOME and the freaking Charlotte Bobcats…we’re not consistent!
I just said if they get lucky and get Boston they have a chance, perhaps you missed that. We match up with Boston better, but forget about it with the other two. No, he should not be judged on what happens in the play off.
Actually F_ ck Sund.
If I was Woodson Id have my agent sending out feelers now.
December 9th, 20099:19 pm
Did someone just say that Crawford wouldn’t lead the team in scoring in the next 10 games? Wrong. And what in the heck was that Jason Collins? When was the last time he actually shot a basketball?
Jason “Porkchops” Collins stinkin up the joint…lol AIRBALL
December 9th, 20099:20 pm
Collins is never gonna score a field goal lol
December 9th, 20099:21 pm
