Hey O’Brien, you do realize that our selfish and inefficient duo of Crawford and JJ are shooting 12 of 23 with 28 points, half of our total…and that we’re winning by 15?
It’s not as simple as you think it is, man. There’s a reason the overwhelming majority of teams in league history have had perimeter-oriented offense.

Also, O’Brien – JJ has been more efficient shooting 3s (1.08 points per attempt last year) than he has shooting 2s (0.94) during most of his career. The most efficient shot in the game is the corner 3; the least efficient is the mid-range jumper. As I said, it’s not as cut and dry as you make it out to be. Yeah, JJ and Crawford have been struggling from deep recently. But do you really think they won’t pull out of it?

Good game so far. Bibby looks like he is still hurting. His defense is always terrible but he is missing open jumpers. I like that Mo plays hard but dude is terrible most of the time.

Yeah, Stats can be misleading.
I’m sure they’ll pull out of it. And the best way to pull out of it is to shoot their way out of it lol.
Maybe they just need to improve their 3 pt shot selection.
That being said, I look forward to the bench finishing the game.

no wabe…i have league pass and I saw the Nuggets vs. Bulls games and D.Rose outran Lawson every time down the court. Rose paces himself a lot though so thats why he might appear to be slower

I do not argue with history or coaches or the fact Jamal and JJ are having good games. I argue that we do not pass enough to the post players on our team and utilize their potential. Not this game but any game in general. My argument for this particular set of players is there is an opportunity for better balance.
In this game the big’s are passing better that the guards. With few turn overs.
One huge plus in this game – the guards are attacking the basket – the reason they are playing so much better.

Isn’t it amazing what the Hawks can accomplish, especially when our bench players are allowed to contribute and the team is allowed to run, attack the basket, pass the ball and not rely on 3pt shooting?
