get rid of him, it's plenty of guys who has his skills, now that our backcourt is where it needs to be we don't need Chillz. I did appreciate all he did for the hawks as a player, but it's time to move on.

I guess this now means that Houston will bring Anderson over and pay him what he wants or close to it. They certainly can't hold an asset that is 29 years old in Europe any longer.

Ariose, I too am looking forward to some more action on the FA front. Perhaps some of the names you mentioned will indeed be in play.

Go Hawks!!!!

Gald to see that as soon as the Euro scrups(Andy/chills) decided to part ways with the hawks, Sund has already started making moves again.

We should see a lot more action now that that whole mess is taken care of.....for now.

Wilcox? Hollins? Gooden? Gerald Green(800k!!!!)?,Flip?

Melvin, yeah that was sick. Has anyone esle noticed that Josh's stroke was a lot smoother in HS? Could it have anything to do with his arms and shoulders growing bigger? He has a much more pronounced shoulder release nowadays.

Nire,

Do you think RC Buford wouldn't welcome Scola back to the Spurs instead of signing an aging Antonio McDyess (and I like McDyess)? Do you think the Spurs would give the Rockets that 2nd pick back for Scola? If so, than you validated my point...

Nire,

Hawks as currently constructed do not have a quality backup at PF which I think Andersen could have filled that role nicely and with the league having few true centers, I think he could play some mins at C base on the matchups. Having a playing rotation of 4 bigs is not out of the norm. If he was effective, I'm sure Woody would have found mins for him. At the least, he could have giving us flexibility in the frontcourt...

As for him coming to the Hawks, I think it was more of a money thing than it was a playing time issue...

We still lack depth at the backup SF and PF positions. Maybe we can trade that new 2nd round pick plus Mo Evans for an upgrade.
