Melvin,

When Josh went down, there were a number of complicating factors. First, both Al and Zaza got hurt at some point during Josh's absence - even after Al got back, he was still hobbled. Second (and this was closely tied to the first item), Woody used 4 starting lineups in 12 days - one with Al at the 4 and Zaza at the 5, one with Al at the 5 and Zaza at the 4 (now THAT game was a disaster); one with Al at the 5, Marvin at the 4, and Mo at the 3; and the game when Horford was totally hurt, Woody put Zaza at the 5, Marvin at the 4, and Mo at the 3. (Marvin scored 21 and had 14 boards that game, but I digress...). Anyway, things were so in flux during that stretch that's tough to say that Al was ever "our PF" during Josh's injury. He certainly wasn't for all 12 games.

Agreed on Marvin improving his dribble-drive skills, but I have little doubt that Marvin could do that if he was ever given the chance to do it in our offense. Right now, his job on 8 out of 10 possessions is "wait in the corner or on the wing for a bail-out pass." Again, when he was asked to step up and play a more active roll on offense, I thought he passed the audition with flying colors.

Niremetal, so you are basically rolling the dice that Marvin and AL will have organic growth next season. Don't get me wrong I think both are good players but to thinking they would automatically increase their scoring average with subtraction of Josh is a big gamble. When Josh went down with the ankle sprain, Horford had 1 great game (against the Bulls and his old college teammate) out of 12 playing the 4 spot. Not sure if that's a great indication of him being this can't missed PF. Also, AL played the opposing team center (Oden and Hibbert) in college.

As for Marvin, I keep seeing the argument that we need to run more plays for him. What about him step up his game and becoming more aggressive on offense to demand the ball. If he would improve his dribble drive skills, I guarantee he would get more shot attempts. Because when the ball is swung to him on the weak side, he would be able to attack the rim instead of passing if the defender closeout on him to prevent his jumper. How come when Flip plays along side the other starters he still get his attempts?

Point guard we are sleeping on acie woody have destroyed this guy confidence its like when he is on the court with the ball at the top of the key he plays very passive and scared like woody is going to spank him instead of playing to his strength and being aggressive and penetrating and breaking down defense for easy basket for his teammates and attacking the rim like a point gurd suppose to.

Ray, the Clips were looking to reduce payroll and I think thats still their goal this summer. Remember Sekou reported the Kaman to the Hawks rumor that didn't include any starters/core players. So my guess is that Sund built a package around Speedy or ZaZa contracts with fillers to make the deal work. Maybe even rights to JChill or DAndersen. That's my guess.

As for chemistry, i like what we have between Josh and AL. Kaman would provide a legit low post scoring threat to our offense. I could care less about who starts the game, I'm more concern about who finish. As for who finish would depend on the most effective lineup that game. The Lakers would be a good example. Some games Odom will start and/or finish, other games its Bynum. But both are quality players and worthy of starting but its about matchups and depending on the matchups Phil make those game time decisions. Again i like the flexibilty of adding Kaman (low post scorer) and McDyess (do it all big man and backup 4/5). Also, keep in mind we don't have a legit backup for Josh.

Oh, and I almost forgot the biggest drawback to Kaman - boy can't stay healthy to save his life.
