I dont know if D-Wade is going to win the MVP this year, but no dispect to Kobe and LaBron, D-Wade is certainly making a case for himself and a name for himself at the same time. When D-Wade is on, its almost like he is in a cold blooded trance and everything he throws up including the kitchen sink is going up in the air and straight down into the nets, no questions asked. Ive never seen anything like it. I mean, when D-Wade is on its like you throw the switch and turn on the electricity and Wade wont let up until you unplug him. He is one special talent and I guarantee you if you asked LaBron or Kobe who is this years MVP, they may not necessarily vote themselves in. They may pick Wade you never know; but I think in order for a fan to make an honest mvp pick of those three guys LaBron, Flash and Kobe, they would have to have seen all 3 guys play for extended minutes to evaluate who really deserves it. My gut feeling tells me it should go to LaBron, because LaBron knows how to excite the fans who are watching him and makes his spectators feel great. Kobe is Mr. Excitement as well and will put on a terrific show for you. But Flash is Flash and is incredible when he is on. I really beleive the fair way to award the MVP this season is to give out this years award by splitting it among those 3 guys; and have 3 co-MVPs (Kobe, Flash and LaBron) because in my mind all 3 of them deserve the award. I know the award will only go to one guy, so give it to the King and dont worry about it anymore. Good Luck!

it's a shame to believe in a team so much and not realize u set up for failure i.e. bills, braves and whoever else you put there, anyway hawks got good starting 5 nobody deny'n that but outside of that what else do you have! once again playoffs show can team adjust being that only 2 games have been played, give woody benefit of doubt, but it dont look good, second nobody in starting 5 will jus take controll as far go to or money player down the stretch, everybody saying johnson but over his career has he ever done it,dont think so nice player but true be told nba full of nice players, and finally the bench is much weaker than hawk fans think,i see bench scoring no more than 25 pts a game where as heat bench will give u close to 40,so stop them from running, keeping in halfcourt set, play tough d and rotate fresh man with different abilities coming at JOE and live with evrybody else. o'yea that first game was to be expected but dont look for it to repeat

I've seen this happen far too often during the regular season. The team is playing poor DEF overall, like in Sundays gm, we're being killed by opposing guard play, like Wade and Cook did to us in Sunday's gm, and our best DEF player, MWest, gets a chance to show what he can do for all of 1min. What other HC in the entire NBA thinks DWade and DCook could have been slowed down by playing MBibby 43mins?

If JOneal is giving Horford trouble, why would Woodson think Zaza would have a better chance to slow him down, especially since DEF isn't Zaza's strong suit. Wouldn't Solo, a much better DEF player who's quicker, faster, more athletic and has a greater reach, which allows him to play taller than his height, be a better option? Woodson refused to even give Solo a chance to see what he could do.

Woodson used the hustle and DEF of MWest to help us get the 4th seed in the playoffs. Yet, in a playoff gm in which DEF is severly lacking, and the opposing guards are killing us, Woodson refused to use that hustle and DEF, or initiate a single change, move or strategy, to try and contain or slow them down. THAT AIN'T COACHING, THAT'S INCOMPETENCE, AND WE PAID THE PRICE FOR THAT INCOMPENTENCE BY SUFFERING A BEATDOWN AND LOSING THE HOMECOURT ADVANTAGE WE WORKED SO HARD TO GET.

doc, how many times did Spirit do his job successfully? I understand benching the little guy during the playoffs... the bright lights were too much for our fine-feathered friend. But he seems to be a very good regular-season performer. You season-ticketholders weigh in. I think they're throwing the bird under the bus.

Welcome back Reality. I can respect a Fan for sticking with their team thru wins/losses (unlike keepin it real). Yall played a good game on Wednesday. Make sure you come back to the blog with a report from game 3 with a perspective that we may not see on TV....

Also no offense, but the atmosphere will be a lot crazier at the AAA than Philips. Everyone is going to be in black and rowdy. I expect the Heat to come out with tons of energy and passion, fueling and feeding off the crowd. Can't wait!

Look for the a Heat fan holding up a "hawk sandwhich". I've got a toy hawk, and 2 fake large sesame seed buns. I will be on TV pretending to eat it.

SouthAfrican09, i been reading this blog since it begun. I'm not sure how long you been on this blog but I can assure you this. If you think you are going to come on this blog to trash Josh Smith, then you will findout that he has alot of supporters/fans and they are more than willing to defend him. So you better be ready for backlash to your Josh bashing statements...

What did I tell you guys?

My screen name is not an accident. I said that Wade and the Heat would fully bounce back...and they did...and some.

Yall called me crazy, delusional for even thinking he Heat still had a chance. Nobody here knows this Heat team better than myself or Al. We are resilient as they come....and inconsistent.

Sunday, the Hawks beat the Heat playing Hawks basketball. On Wednesday, the Heat beat the Hawks playing Heat basketball.

Now the series moves into Miami.

It's far from over, anything can happen. That's what I was telling you guys...no matter how lopsided game 1 was, YOU CANNOT WRITE OFF A SERIES AFTER 1 GAME. Cmon.

The key to game 3: Tempo. Whichever team dictates the tempo of the game will have a great shot at winning. If the Heat force the Hawks to play half-court basketball again, they will win.

By the way, I WILL BE ATTENDING GAME 3!!!!! Black is Back. The AAA will be electric on Saturday.

Heat in 6.
